Bully Brother {Short Story}

Chapter 6

[Lydia's POV]
This morning Calum had woken me up by asking me on our third date. We had previously been on two but those were secret. To everyone else, this is our first date. I had five hours until the date because we were leaving at 8:00pm and it was currently 3:00pm. Being the antisocial girl I am, I was sat on my bed with a face mask on reading fanfic on WattPad on my laptop. After reading 'Nobody' and 'Somebody' by FuzzieFry ,'Adopted By Magcon... At 17' by Magcon_4_lifexx , '6463' by Pocahontasmind , 'Loving You' and 'Loving Our Family' Phoenix187 ,I started to begin reading one by a girl called @Girl_Who_Cries_Wolf . It was called 'The Fourth Maynard' and it was about a girl called Amber who was Jack Maynard's twin. It was really. By the time I had finished reading it, it was time to take the face mask. I went into my bathroom and filled the sink with warm water. I put a face cloth in and then pulled it of. I rung out the water and started to wipe the mask off of my face. Once I had finished, I put the damp cloth in my washing basket and emptied the sink. I went back into my bedroom only to see that the time was 7:30pm. As fast I could, I put on my outfit. I did very basic makeup and just brushed my hair. I put all my jewellery on, I put my pizza phone case on my phone, I put on my glasses. I walked downstairs and saw Calum stood at the door. Damn, he's so amazing.

"You look beautiful." He complimented me.

"You look just as good." I replied.

We went outside and started to walk to our destination. We had a small talk but we eventually reached the fair. I saw one ride and practically dragged Calum over to it. We waited in line until we were allowed to get on. We sat in the cart and put our harnesses on. The ride counted down from 5 to 1 and then we shot off. Cal and I put our hands in the air along with the other passengers. I laughed unlike Calum who was freaking out because we went upside down. It was actually really funny. The ride went around three more times until it was finished. We got off of it and I burst out into a laughing fit.

"It wasn't that funny Lyds." Calum said.

"Your right Calum. It was hilarious." I laughed.

"Okay it was kinda funny." He chuckled.

"Where to now?" I asked him.

He smirked at me and grabbed my hand. We started to run to a ride but I couldn't see what it was. We joined the back of queue and waited for us to get on the ride. Once we were at the front of the line, I realised that we were at a Ferris wheel. A couple got out of a cart making it vacant. The ride worker person (I don't know the proper name) helped us on and locked the barrier in place. We made a 180° turn on the wheel and were now at the top. It stopped so we had a perfect view of the fair, the beach and the sea. Calum scooted closer to me and we turned to look at each other. We closed our eyes and began leaning in. The next thing I knew, I was kissing Calum. We parted when the ride began to move again. We got to the bottom and got off. We decided we had enough of the fair and walked to the beach. As we walked along the sea front barefoot, the small splashes of water flicked onto our feet. We walked into the middle of the sandy beach path and started walking the long distance to the end of the beach that we came from. We stopped and I walked in front of Calum so I could ask if anything was wrong.

"I was going to ask earlier." Calum said.

"Ask what?" I said.

"Lydia Roxy Hemmings, will you be my girlfriend?" Calum asked me.

"Does this answer your question?" I asked him.

I stood on my tip toes and pulled him in for a kiss but this time wrapping my arms around his neck. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled my tiny body closer. I took a small step forward and stood on his feet so it was easier to kiss him. We parted and I rested my head in the crook of his neck.

"Yes it does." He whispered into my ear.

After the eventful night, we went home to sleep. I climbed into my king sized bed with lots of thoughts in my head. The main ones being very important to me.

I have a boyfriend.
My boyfriend isn't an abusive prick.
My boyfriend isn't an alcoholic bully.
My boyfriend isn't a douche who things he can do whatever the fuck he wants to me and thinks he can rape me.
I have a boyfriend that loves me for me and I know won't leave me.
