As I am walking in, I try to think about what the heck could be going on. But I have no idea. I mean, I know I Was Not born a werewolf, so how am I one now? Because if I had been one 'certain people' would have known, and 'They' would have been able to tell.
"Hey, Bella" Jake says as Emily and I walk in.
"Hey" I respond weakly. We sit down. All the wolves are here, making it pretty crowded. But I realize I don't feel very uncomfertable with all of these people.
"So...Your a wolf now?" Jake says, more of a statement than a question.
"I guess so... But how?" I ask.
"Well all those sicknesses, and fevors, and even you getting realy mad at me for no reason were sympoms of this, It's what all of us had right before." Jake says.
"So Bella, has anything wierd happened to you anytime recently, before these symptoms started?" Sam asks.
"Not that I know of..." I think about it for a minute. There is something, although I dont know if it will mean anything.
"Well something a little strange happened a couple weeks ago," I start, "do you remember Jacob?" He looks at me questioningly
"I'm not sure," he says.
"What was it, Bella?" Sam asks.
It was the middle of the night, and I was half asleep. I heard the window screech, and Jake climbed in.
"Jake, what are you doing here?" I hissed.
"Come on, Bella, you have to see this! It's a once in a life time expirience! Heck, it may even be a once in 3 lifetimes expirience!" he exclaimed exitedly.
"Alright, Alright!" I said, expecting us to go downstairs, but instead he scooped me up into his his arms and jumped out the window.
"Hey!" I yelled playfully. "Now, what is it you want me too see so bad?'' I asked.
"Tonight, for the first time in 300 years, there is going to be a complete luner eclipse and a planetary alighnment at the exact same time!" He explained very exitedly.
"That's realy cool, but what does It have to do with you?" I asked.
"Well," he replied, "it was on a Planetary Eclipse, thats what we call them, that our ancestor fused with the wolf he was inhabiting and terfore started th line of all werewolves. And it happened exactly at the same time as the planetary eclipse."
"Wow, I guess that is pretty special," I said. We headed over to the part of my yard that is not obstructed by trees and sat down. The sight of a shadow covering the moon was fascinating. It was getting close to completely covering th moon, and I felt myself starting to get exited.
"Maybe you shouldnt look strait at it at it's peak," he said nervously, "it's supposed to damage your eyes, or something."
"Whatever," I said, rolling my eyes. I leaned against him as iI looked up and watched as the shadow completely obscured the moon. When it did, it was amazing. It's like I saw the entire werefolf history in the flash of a millasecond. From the first werewolf, to every battle there ever was. I felt a electric current go through me, and I jerked away, looking down.
" Wow,'' is all I could manage. I blushed.
"Yeah" he said.
"Then it's true." Sam says, looking amazed. Everyone looked amazed.
"What's true?'' I ask, confused.
"There is this old legend that if a human is looking strait at a Planetary Eclipse, while touching a werewolf, it will transform them into a werewolf too. But we never thought it was true, it's never been recorded happening. But it must have happened to you." he explains.
"Wow, thats amazing!" I say. I think for a moment. This realy isn't a bad thing. Isn't this what I've wanted? A way to move on and be with Jake without being sad over vampires for the rest of my life? This is a perfect solution! I'm not going to cry over them, or even be sad, if I hate them, and it's pretty clear all werewolves despise vampires. But what do I look like?
"I don't need to cut my hair, do I?'' I ask. Thinking of how all the othewr werewolves had to cut their hair off to keep it short as a wolf.
"No, No," Jake says, "for some reason you fur isn't long like you're hair. You have the purest of white hair, long, but not too long, Shiney, and just..perfect... beautiful... Just right." He says, admiring me. Of couse I blush bright red, and Quill starts Cracking up. This may be the best thing that has happened to me since 'They' left. No, thats not right. This is better than them. This may be the best thing that has ever happened to me.
