=======Ash's P.O.V.=======
"Aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!!!" I screamed out louder than Noivern's Screech (not really lel), yelling at my yellow furred buddy, who was currently on top of my hart empty stomach, which to me was empty even tough over the past training made me eat less. "I'm upppppppppp!" I said but not fast enough as I feel another thunderbolt strike my whole body spreading from the stomach.
"Pika? Pika Pi!" Pikachu said while pointing to e clock and holding up a bottle of unopened ketchup with a grin splattered on his face.
I opened the bottle for Pi and turned around to see the clock, when ?I saw the clock, My eyes widened, "It's 12:30! I missed breakfast! And the tournament is going to start in 1 hour! Pikachu why didn't you wake me up earlier???" I yelled at Pikachu at the top of my lungs.
"Pika Pi." Pi said while crossing his arms and turn its back on me. "I know that your not my alarm clock but shouldn't a friend help each other out?" I question trying to reason with him, but the only sound made was slurping noises from Pi. I sigh as I get changed and ready for today, the big day.
After I got everything ready, I glanced back to the clock with my advanced eye sight that I had by transferring aura into my eyes, and saw it was 1 o-clock. I sigh quietly to myself again and thought, "Guess I'm missing lunch as well. I'll just go eat what's in the fridge." I walked over to the hotel fridge and opened it up, and getting met by some food that I could eat. I quickly eat it and rushed off outside the door with Pi on my head.
=======Serena's P.O.V.=======
"F-finally! We fi-finally arrived h-here! Next time can we not run please guys?" Complained Clemont. Bonnie made a pouty face at Clemont and said, "If you would take that giant backpack off your back for once, you would be running faster ya know." Then the two starts bickering and arguing about science and backpacks. Meanwhile, all of us just sweat dropped and decided to leave them be for now.
We continued to go into the stadium, and wow, just wow. They painted the wall blue and red and had wallpaper of all his Pokemon. Then we walked past the Ash-Greninja one, we were all looking at it trying to remember all the good times we had until a certain blonde haired girl with a Dedenne on her head jump in front of us. "I see you have finished your spicy argument back there," Cilan stated. Bonnie and Clemont just rolled their eyes and kept walking.
=======Time Skip to The Start of The Tournament=======
We hear a loud roar cover the over stadium, I looked on to see what was happening. Charles Goodshow walked out to the stage.
=======Third Person P.O.V.=======
"Welcome! To the First Annual ASH KETCHUM Memorial Tournament!" Mr. Goodshow said into the microphone. A loud roar was heard from the audience. "This tournament is made to all the good deeds that Ash has done for us, although he has never won a league, he has saved the world countless of times during his travels in Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos. He has met most if not all of the legendary Pokemon and has even defeated a few of them by himself! Despite all of that, he has helped us found a new type of evolution, the Bond Phenomenon. In the beginning when I first met him in the Indigo Plateau I thought he was just another trainer going for his dream. But when I looked into his eyes, I saw it, I saw the fire and determination in his eyes burning." He speeches with a smile, then a loud roar was heard once again from the audiences.
Charles waited for the audience to quiet down once again then started, "Ash battles with determination and passion. Pokemon types never affect him in battles, which is why in this tournament there will ever no substitution, only the Pokemons you chooses. His love, Serena Yvonne or the Kalos Queen will be performing today for all of us to see what it is like to bond with our Pokemon, and after that we will have one of the Champions battle one of the trainers that are competing in this tournament in a 2 on 2 battle! We hope you all good luck and like Ash always says, 'Never Give Up Until It's Over!'" With that, he concluded and a loud wave of applause was heard as he walked back inside.
=======Serena's P.O.V.=======
"What? Serena you never told us that you were gonna perform on stage today?" Dawn and May said in unison with excitement in their voice. I was still blushing hard from when Charles said I was his love. " This is a performance I'll do not for my fame, but for Ash! He has helped me along the way to become Kalos Queen and today is the day I will show it to him, no matter where he is!" I said to my friends with determination in my eyes just like Ash while walking to the dressing rooms to change and get ready spot preform.
But I didn't know, that a certain masked man was listening to all of this by Channeling aura.
=======Ash's P.O.V.=======
I smiled to myself after hearing to what Serena said about me. It was good to know that my friends still treat me like a friend and not some god. I went and got a good seat getting ready to watch the performance that Serena has for us.
I was talking to my Pokemons using aura and some how they had some pretty funny jokes, wonder where they foot it from, until the lights dim and circle beams of light is beaming towards the performance stage. Everyone got quiet knowing that this is the Kalos Queen's performance.
Serena walked out to the stage with her dress that she wore in her first master class attempt against the former Kalos Queen Aria, along with the same three Pokemons used. I had my full focus on her, "she was so cute and beautiful in that dress." With that thought in my mind, the showcase began.
(Ignore the Aria part guys, I just couldn't find one that only has Serena's part in it.)
======= Time Skip to After The Preformance=======
I clapped my hands with affection knowing that this is the exact performance she used against Aria when she first lost in the masterclass. A loud wave of applause and roar was heard, louder than Dialga's Roar of Time.
"Before I leave, I have a few things to say," The honey blonde Kalos Queen said getting people's attention, "That performance was the exact one that I lost to against Aria in the master class 5 years ago, the reason I did the exact same one was because after I lost to Aria, there is this one person that cheered me up, this one person that always look for the good in everything, the person that I admire so much that made me fall in love with, and that persons name is Ash Ketchum." She said with affection and getting teary eyes because of the death of me, " And even though I know he has pasted away, I know he is listening, watching over me and all of his friends and family. After his death, I was depressed, but one encourage sentence was stuck in my head, and that one sentence helped me get through that depressing time. I'm sure you all know what the sentence is, if not, it is 'never give up until it's over!' And I knew that what he wanted me to do was to go and complete my dream so I pushed through. And if any of you ever have hard times in life, just remember to never give up and keep pushing," she ended her short speech, it made me smile and made the whole audience roar in approval.
"Thank you for that wonderful speech Serena," Mr. Goodshow said coming back up for the next event which was Chanpion v.s. Trainer. "And now, the event many of you have waited for, we will randomly pick a champion and a trainer that is participating in this tournament to have a battle against each other to show Ash's passion for battling!" He said with a smile.
"The Champion that will be battling is.... Diantha! Wow folks, luck just seem to be in Kalos today huh," He said chuckling to himself. "Hhmm, Diantha huh, whoever is battling will have to be careful with her Gardevoir." I thought to myself with a smile seeing the champion walk up to the stage while a loud cheer comes from the crowd. "And now, the lucky trainer that will battle battle Diantha will be..... Aaron Satoshi!" Charles said while a picture of me comes up on the screen. I hear people muttering about who I am and why I have a mask on. I ignored all of that and walked up to the stage. A smirk was splattered on my face as I have the opportunity to battle Diantha once again after so long.
A battle field rose up on the stage as we both walked to either side of the field. The referee for this match came up and stood on the side linear with two flags and said, "This will be a 2 on 2 battle against Champion Diantha, and Trainer Aaron. Trainers, please send out your Pokemon!"
" Go! Gourgist!" Diantha said
"Go! ....." I said with excitement in my voice.
