Chapter 8: First Round Begins!

~~~The next day~~~
=======Ash's P.O.V.=======
"Greninja, Water Shuriken! Lucario, Bone Rush to deflect those shurikens! Charizard, Dragon Tail! Sceptile, Leaf Blade to block it! Garchomp, Dragon Pulse! Pikachu, Electro Ball!"

All my Pokemon obeyed and released their respective moves, we have been training for a little over 2 hours now but it's still 8 in the morning and our first match doesn't start until 10. "Alright guys, you all can take a break. Wanna go get breakfast?" I yelled out to them, which in return got multiple roars of agreement, mainly by Charizard because he is always the loudest.

I went and got food for all of us, a lot of Pokemon food for everybody, and a bottle of ketchup for Pikachu as always. I just wished I could still have Serena's Macaroons and Pokepuffs. With that thought, we all started eating.

"Who am I battling? I'll beat the person with no problem. What Pokemon am I gonna use?" These thoughts flooded over my head as I ate in silence, out of curiosity, I went on my Pokephone and went to check who I was battling.

I went on and checked who I was battling, my eyes scrolled down the long list of trainers and I found it within a few seconds. I smirked, this was gonna be interesting. "Long time no see, Ritchie..." I thought to myself as I continued eating.

=======Serena's P.O.V.=======

My eyes started to flutter open due to someone screaming in my ear, I sat up and swung my hand to my right and felt something like a cheek. Yup, it was definitely Bonnie.

"You know, if I was Ash then you wouldn't have done that, and if you did... then you would be in big trouble, wish I was Ash sometimes..." She pouted while holding her right cheek where she was slapped.

I felt my cheeks flare up as soon as she said that, "W-wha n-no! I w-would've done the same thing!" I knew that was a lie, and Bonnie saw right through it.

"Sureeeeee..." She said with a smug smile, "anyways, get up or we'll miss the first battle! It's 9 in the morning! Gary's battle is in 30 minutes!"

"Yea yea, I'll- WAIT WHAT?! 30 minutes? why didn't you wake me up earlier?" I instantly jumped off the bed and sprinted in the bathroom with my daily clothes. I faintly heard someone yell out "Iris! Wake up or you'll be late!" I sighed, Bonnie is just everyone's alarm clock nowadays.

When we got in the battle field I noticed that Gary's battle was just about to end, and he was calling his final move.

"Blastoise! Finish this off with Hydro pump!" Gary yelled out pointing straight at the opposing Meowth, I swear I heard the Meowth say something in human language. The Meowth fainted and the loser just left the battle field without shaking hands. I wonder...

"That trainer gives me a sore taste in my mouth" I heard Cilan say, no idea what he was talking about though.

Then I heard another few voice that disturbed me quite a bit, oh no... Ash has told me about this during our travel together, "Gary Gary he's our man, if he can't do it no one can!" The audience must have searched into his past, I saw Gary sweat drop on the field and turned around and left.

We turned our attention back on the stage as it changes and the announcer says something that caught my ears, "Next up we have Ritchie from Frodomar City of Kanto and Aaron Satoshi on the other side!"

"Aaron, huh, well this shall be interesting" I heard Gary say as he came and sat with us. We all smiled at him while congratulating his victory.

=======Ash's P.O.V.=======

"It's great to see you again, Ritchie" I thought to myself as I got ready to battle.

"Trainers, bring out your first Pokemon!" The referee said as Ritchie gripped his Pokeball

"Go, Happy!" Ritchie yelled out, I smirked, "I need your assistants, Blastoise!" I yelled out knowing this was the same Squirtle that battled his Butterfree.

"Battle Begin!"

"Happy, start things off with Whirlwind!" Ritchie yelled out, I smirked, "Blastoise, stand your ground and use Rain Dance!"

Due to Blastoise large and heavy body, the Whirlwind only created dust everywhere while the whole arena started to rain.

"Happy, use sleep powder!" Ritchie yelled out, "Bad move" I thought.

"Sleep Talk!" Blastoise started walking and fired an Ice Beam straight at Butterfree making it faint. "Butterfree is unable to battle, Blastoise wins!"

"Happy Return, you did a great job" Ritchie said smiling faintly while returning his Butterfree.

"Blastoise, return, you did great," I said smiling but because if the mask nobody saw it. "It's your turn, Zippo!" I heard Ritchie yell out with determination. I smiled, "If thats the case, go, Charizard!"

Both Charizard appeared on the battlefield with mine flying around and shooting flamethrowers everywhere.

Ritchie smiled, "Charizard, lets start things off by mega evolving!" He touched his necklace which was hidden under his shirt, and Charizard's arm started to glow along with Ritchie's necklace.

After the transformation was complete, his Charizard had blue flames coming out of the side of its mouth along with black colored skin. "Let's get this a bit interesting too, shall we?" I smiled as I touched my mega ring which had a keystone in it. Charizard's tail along with my mega ring started to glow, he grew an extra horn in the middle, and tiny wings started to grow on his tiny arms.

"Charizard, use Dragon Claw!" Ritchie yelled out

"use Smokescreen! Don't let it get to you! Then use Dragon Pulse!" I smirked

A cloud of smoke came out of my Charizard and clouded the area, "Charizard! Get out of there!" Ritchie yelled as soon as he saw my plan. His Charizard tried, but was too late, a dragon like pulse of energy flew into Ritchie's Charizard creating an explosion.

"Charizard X is unable to battle, Charizard Y wins!" The Referee said as soon as the explosion cleared.

Both of us returned our Charizards while praising it for its good work. Then he sent out his Raichu. "It's your turn, buddy!" I said as I pointed towards the Battlefield. Pikachu jumped on my shoulder then to my hand and jumped off, doing a double flip in the air and landed in a battle stands.

"Sparky! Use Agility to get faster! Then use Electro-ball!" Ritchie said. Smart, but not Smart enough, "Pikachu! Send it back with Iron Tail! Then finish it off with an earthquake by using Iron Tail on the ground!" I heard the crowd gasp when they heard me say this, I just smiled under my mask.

Pikachu responded with a "Pika!" and sent the ball of electricity flying back to Raichu with Iron Tail, using the momentum from hitting the ball back in mid air, he did a flip and used Iron Tail to hit the ground.

The whole ground shook, while waves was sent out in all direction from the tiny Pikachu. Rocks and dirt was smashed up in the air, so was Ritchie's Raichu. When the mini earthquake ended, every single person gasped in awe of how much this little cute Pikachu can do. There was a gigantic hole where Pikachu used to be when he used Iron Tail on the ground and a fainted Raichu on the opposing side.

"R-Raichu is u-unable to battle, Pi-Pikachu wins, meaning Aaron is the winner of this match!" The referee stuttered out, clearly still in shock. It was dead silence for a few seconds, then the whole stadium erupted with cheers and screams.

I smiled and walked in front of Ritchie, holding my hand out for him to shake, "Great Battle! Ritchie!"

Ritchie looked shock, but still smiled back,"Yea, we should battle again sometime, Aaron"

"Definitely," I smiled. "But next time, I won't lose!" He said determined, then we both exited back to our own locker rooms.

Finally! A chapter out! I know its been a while, I really have no excuse this time because finals ended a few days ago, I guess I'm just lazy. But anyways, please comment on my mistakes and how to write better! Oh and a question for all of you, Who do you want Ash to battle next round? I have a person in mind but I wanna hear you guys say it!
