CHAPTER 3

"Brenda!!! Wake up!!! You'll be late!!!!" Mom yelled.
I rolled out of bed and yawned. Jeez, why'd school have to start so early?! I chose a "Tree Hugger" tee and a pair of jeans. I looked in the mirror and realized... If I want Drew to notice me, I need to dress better. I switched to a V-Neck blue striped T-shirt, a pair of skinny jeans, and a pair of black ballet flats that I dug out of my closet(They were still in the box!). I put my hair up in a messy bun. Out of the corner of my eye I spied the makeup set I used for last Halloween. Should I? Is it too much? I decided to just line my eyes with a bit of brown eyeliner.
"What's taking so long?" Mom said
I ran to breakfast and wolfed down my toast. I brushed my teeth and rushed out the door to my bus stop just in time to see the bus heading my way. Suddenly I felt butterflies in my stomach. What am I DOING?!! Just for Drew, I changed so much? It was too late to go back now, I got on the bus, sat down in an empty seat and stared out the window. I guess since it was so early in the schoolyear that nobody would notice... We passed by DQ, and I kept thinking about Drew. He was handsome, and hot... Why am I so confused? I liked him a lot... Right? I analyzed everything and came up with a list of things I liked about him.
List:
His looks
His voice
His personality? Nahh... I don't know him enough..
Then it hit me, I only liked Drew like you would like One Direction or Taylor Lautner... I liked him as a celebrity... Only he's not a celebrity. *Sigh* My thoughts were so jumbled I didn't notice the guy who was talking to me.
"Ummm " The guy said
"OH! Uhhh sorry, what?" I said
"Can I sit here?" He said
"Sure!" I replied and moved my stuff
I turned around, everything stopped and my mouth turned into and "O". He saw my face and we just gaped at eachother.
