She laughed for a moment to avoid the domination of unwanted silence filling in, as a response after he threw some pointless puns and corny jokes. She lifted her hand to gave him small hits on his firm chest which gave him amusement. He joined the laughter and held her hand to stop it from whatever it is doing, without asking permission, he stole a kiss from her.

It was a quick smack yet a sweet one. Surprised was visible to her face but shifted immediately into a shy smile and looked down to avoid the lovely gaze. He leaned closer to her and whispered something on the back of her earlobe near to its neck which made her blushed and mumbled a short reply.

With that I was able to understand those 'I love you'

Love. Seriously? In my definition, love is parlous. It can make you irrational especially with the absence of your mind. Love is just an absurd product of the heart, without the assistance of mind.

The heart screams for its whims. The mind focuses on needs. Heart as the subjective, and mind as the objective. Heart as hot fire for its burning passion. Mind as cold water for its cool simple ways. Mind excels in logical and practical reasoning while heart ordains what it wants and sometimes just simply rely on it, linking to what we called 'gut feeling' Our body is just the doer of the actions mandate by its ruler, that can be heart or mind.

He gave feathered kisses to her with a grin plastered on his lips, she chuckled shortly.

In their situation, it's more like the ruler of their body was no other than their crazy hearts. I cringed in disgust. Like are they out of their minds!? Probably. I mentally rolled my eyes with such thought.

They let their emotions governe-

*bogsh!

My attention was suddenly diverted to the origin of noise which made me startle a bit. It was from a fallen calculator and reminded me of reality. Napadpad ang tingin ko sa armchair ko and my eyes widened as the realization sunk in!

"Your time starts now! "

Agad kong binaling ang ulo ko sa gawing unahan at nakita sa white tarpaulin kung saan nakaflash ang word problem na kailangang solusyunan. I can sense that I'm the only one left reading the problem, dahil ang iba'y abala na sa pagsosolve. I am in a Mathematics Quiz Bee for Pete's sake!

Buti na lamang at hindi malabo ang mata ko at nababasa pa naman ito kahit papaano. Hindi rin naman kalayuan ang agwat ng posisyon ko sa unahan kaya't lubos lubos na lamang na pasasalamat ko sa sandaling iyon.

Kinuha ko agad ang lapis sa mesa at mabilis na isinulat ang mga given and I tried to visualize the problem after I've analyzed it. I get another scratch paper upang ilagay roon ang minemorize kong equation,then I started to substitute each with my data. Then I grab the calculator on my side since we've been dealing to Law of Cosines!

*bzzzzzt!

"Time's out! Pen's up!"

Mabilis na pagtipa sa calculator ang isinagawa ko until I gathered my answers and put them in a small piece of paper with the number 16 on top of it. Itataas ko pa lamang ang kamay ko nang may dumaan sa bandang gilid ng upuan ko upang kolektahin ang mga papel.

I sighed in frustration. I'm not quite sure about my answers. Darn! Kung bakit ba naman kasing naglalampungan dyan sa entrance hall eh!
