Keith's POV
Go! Get the Lions! ZARKON is attacking!
I heard Shiro yelling out orders. Zarkon and Haggar had come, drawing in close to the castle. We zipped into our Lions and shot out, ready to destroy all of the fleets and get in close. I felt adrenaline course through my veins. I smiled. I was ready. We were gonna take his fleets out. Obliterate them.
If only I knew how wrong I really was.
Fifteen minutes into the battle, we were looking good. We had destroyed most of the fleet, ready to move in on Zarkon. We were about to form Voltron when a flash of magenta light flashed from below Zarkon's ship.
"Move!" Shiro yelled. But it was too late. As I turned around I saw the light coming directly at my Lion.
And then everything went black.
