Lance's POV
"KEITH!" I yelled. My heart was beating a million miles a second as I rushed to his Lion. Something was really wrong. I took his Lion and dragged it to the castle.
When we landed, I jumped out of my Lion and rushed to Keith's. I willed it to open, and sprinted to the cockpit. When I saw what was there I froze.
See, the exact problem wasn't what WAS there.
The problem was that there was something that wasn't there. Or rather, someone who wasn't there, that should have been.
I almost passed out.

"GUYS!" I was screaming through the halls. The rest of the paladins had just returned from battle, looking at me wearily, and then noticing my panic.
"Lance, where is Keith?" Shiro asked me, grabbing my shoulders. "Where is Keith?" He asked again. Tears pulled at my eyes.
"He gone." I said, my voice cracking. Shiro stared at me in surprise, then patted my shoulders.
"Alright team." He said, trying to recompose himself. "We need to get him out."
"How?" I choked out. He was gone. Zarkon had taken him. Who knows what he would do to the Red Paladin. Thought of everything they might do, all the torture, made me choke up. I rushed out of the room. I heard the others calling my name, but I didn't look back. I sat in my room that night, crying because my Keith was gone. We had to get him back. We HAD to.

"Alright team, here's the plan." Shiro said. "We infiltrate the base, find Keith, and get out of there as soon as possible, as fast as possible." He finished. He began again. "We just need someone to get in there.""I'll do it." I said wearily. If anyone was going to get Keith back, it was going to be me.
"Alright." Shiro said, nodding.
It was settled. I would be the one to go in and find Keith. I would be the one to rescue him.
I was determined to get my Keith back, no matter what it took.
