I started crying. "Is Kevin going to die?"
"Yes, in six years," Oxplu replied. "I will visit. Kevin was my human name or Tidia, but when you die you get something called a Govia. A Govia is like a ghost name. I was given the Govia Oxplu."
I wiped my eyes. "What about Nasctavi? What was her old Tidia?"
Nasctavi walked out of the closet and she looked like she was a little older than Oxplu. "Bionca," I muttered. "I have to tell Kevin and Bionca that they are going to die!"
Oxplu and Nasctavi both screeched, "No,"
"Why not?"
"It will mess up space-time. It could destroy the universe. We are risking our lives and places in the University of Pryto Physics and Space-Time just by speaking to you, Hailey."
I fell on my bed and stared at the ceiling. "I don't want you guys to die," I said holding back tears and sobs. Oxplu and Nasctavi came close and lied down next to me. They transformed into the fourteen-year-old versions of themselves. I closed my eyes and drifted off into a sleep.
