Chapter Four
Sally all leaded us to where we will be staying for the next two weeks or so, and I have to be honest it was really cosy. It was getting quite late so there was a camp fire. Zayn was sat with a group of friends on the log opposite me and the girls. I am sure one of the boys was realated to Zayn because they really look a like.. Or it might have just been my imagination. Yep. That's what it probably was. I thought it was all just my imagination, or was it? As the night went on, we were all now in our pyjamas. Megan and Zayn were the only two still out by the camp fire. Me and the rest of the girls had been listening to the conversation behind some trees as it was too dark to see anything or anyone at the moment. All you could see was Megan and Zayn and it was perfect. Megan was starryeyed. Her eyes were huge as she stared into his deep chocolate brown eyes.
"Sorry, is there something on my face?" Zayn asked. I tried not to laugh but failed.
"No, course not.. just me being silly as per usual.. Thank you for coming to see if I was ok earlier at the obstacle course. It was really nice of you" Megan said and smiled. Me and the girls were all huddled up as if we were watching a romantic movie. All we needed was the popcorn. Someone give us some, please? Haha.. joking!!
"Oh that's good. Yeah.. no problem, did you hurt yourself at all?" Zayn asked Megan who's jaw was now dropped. I started clicking, trying to give her a signal on what she was doing but the poor girl was staring into space bless her. Zayn waved his hand in her face and Megan started to blink really fast as if she had just woken up. Zayn then laughed.
"What was the question, sorry?" Megan asked Zayn who had started to chuckle.
"I asked if you had hurt yourself in thr obstacle race when you fell over earlier?" Zayn repeated. Megan nodded and lifted her foot to show Zayn.
"I think I sprained my foot when I fell.. I don't know what came over me. I mean, I was running and then all of a sudden POOF! I was on the floor!" Megan explained. Zayn burst out laughing. Megan giggled at his reaction.
"You are really funny, you know that Meg. Is it ok if I call you Meg?" Zayn asked Megan who smiled at him and nodded. He then nodded back and had a look of her foot again.
"So Zayn, have you had any you know, difficulties with feet?" Megan asked and looked to the dirt ground. Zayn started to laugh again.
"Well my father is a doctor, so yeah I do know quite a lot about pains" Zayn giggled. This night was so perfect. We were all so happy for Megan. I mean, a couple of hours ago she didn't even have the courage to complete an obstacle race against him, never mind have a tidy conversation with him. It was getting quite late so everyone was really tired.
"Right, that's me done. I am off to bed. See you in the morning. Stay funny.." Zayn said as he got up and walked to the boys bunk. Megan just waved and walked into our bunk. Me and the rest of the girls then went into our bunk just after Megan and squeeled with excitement. That night, I got to be honest was a night that I didn't actually mind Megan babble about Zayn..
