Chapter 6

My dad is away for a week. So Justin is going to stay at my house with me to get away from his mom, and I have yet to tell anyone what happened at the party. "Justin." I said getting his attention. "Yeah?" "I need to tell you something horrible. I don't think I can keep this to myself for any longer." He turned and looked at me. "What happened Alex?" I sighed, and told him everything that happened. He jumped up and walked to the other side of the room. "Bryce couldn't have done that." I stood up, and slowly walked over to him. "He did. I'm sorry." Justin walked over and wrapped his arms around me. "He's helped me with everything. He couldn't have done that to me." I wrapped my arms around him. "He didn't do anything to you. He did to Jessica. Not you." We walked over and laid down on my bed. "What do we do?" He asked. I laced my fingers with his. "I've been wondering that myself."

Everyone at school was quiet. We just found out Jeff Adkins died in a drunk driving car accident. To top it off there is a photo of two girls kissing going around, but no one cares about that. They are letting us go home early. I'm going to go to Monet's to get a cappuccino first. I walked in and sat down at my usual table and ordered my drink. Hannah walked in, and I immediately got up and left the shop. I have been ignoring her because I'm scared that I might tell her what happened at the party. There is so much stuff going on right now that I decided it was best to wait, and Justin thinks that if Jessica wants anything done she will come forward. Not the smartest thing, but I still went along. "Alex" She called out, but I ignored her and kept walking.

I called Justin asking where he was. "Just went home to get some stuff, I'll be there soon." We hung up and I laid on my bed waiting for Justin to walk in my door. My phone went off and I checked it. 

Hannah: Why have you been ignoring me?
Hannah: Please Alex, I need to talk.
Hannah: FML?.

Finally she gave up, but I feel bad. Justin walked in seconds later jumping into my arms. "Life is shit right now." He said. I gave a smile smile. "Yeah it is. Luckily we still have each other."
