The next day came by and I drive to school with Justin. We go inside give each other a kiss and go to our lockers. When I get to my locker I see Hannah.
"Hey Hannah." I say as I open my locker. "Oh hey Emma." Hannah says back while opening her locker.
"I didn't see you yesterday."
"I was uh sick so I couldn't come."
Then we hear cheering I turn around and I see Bryce high fiving everyone and I turn back around and see Hannah looking at him. Then Bryce walks past us and winks at her. I look at him with disgust. Hannah closes her locker and goes to the office.
A couple minutes pass by and I'm in class.
"Sir may I use the bathroom." I say to the teacher.
"Yes you may." I grab the pass and go to the bathroom I see Hannah walking in the hallway. I was gonna say hi but she left out the door fast I swear I heard her talking to something.
Hours later passed by and I was driving home until I heard ambulances I went to the sound and it was Hannah's house I got out my car and I saw ambulance and cops the door was open so I ran inside to see what happened. I ran in and I saw mrs. baker crying and me.baker was hugging her and crying I saw a cop standing out the bathroom and I ran to the bathroom. "No ma'm you can't be in here I pushed the police officer Out the way and I stepped on something I look at the floor and it was water and blood.
I look at the bathtub and Hannah was lying there with blood on her arms and lifeless. I gasped and I started to cry I ran to Hannah's body and kept shaking her. "Hannah wake up!, wake up!, dammit Hannah." The police officer pulled me off and I walked out I ran to mrs.baker and mr. baker they hugged me and I started to cry I couldn't breathe I kept and kept crying people were outside worried. Then I saw tony run in the house and look around he covered his mouth and started tearing up I went up to tony and hugged him.
A few weeks passed by and everyone was so sad about the suicidal death of Hannah and more days and days passed I always thought to myself that I should've never came to this school. Yes i love Justin but so much happened because of me but I don't know.
This morning I saw Justin speaking to clay and then mr. porter called Justin to his office. I looked at Justin as he walked by and Justin looked at me worried. Clay looks at me and he stands infront of Hannah's locker. I walk up to him "hey clay." I say as I approach him. Clay looks at the floor then looks at her locker that has pictures of her and flowers then he looks at me. "Hey Emma."
"How are you?"
"I'm fine."
"Are you sure?"
"I don't know it's just I've lost so many important people basically in my life."
"Clay I know we are not the best of friends but I'm here for you I know how it feels we lost Jeff and Hannah."
"I know it's hard to take it all in but it is what it is."
The bell rang and I went to class the end of the day came and I clay went with tony. I drove home and did my homework after I finished I called Justin but he didn't answer so I went to his house and I knocked .
"What do you want?" A man said as he swung the door open,the smell of alcohol and smoke slapped me in the face.
"Is Justin here?" I said.
"He's with his fucking rich friend tell the fucker that his mom misses him and he needs to come back." The man said while lighting a cigarette. I scoffed and walked away and drove my car to bryces house.
I knocked on the door and zach opened the door. "Hey zach is Justin here?" Zach smiled at me and said "yea he's in the pool house." He let me in I walked in the house and was headed to the backyard before I went in the pool house I asked zach a question. "Wait zach is Bryce in there?"
"Yea."
"Good."
I walked in the pool house and saw Justin laying on the couch eating and playing video games. "Ugh Justin really instead of being at school you lay here to be lazy." Justin turned around got up quick and kissed me. "Baby I missed you." Justin said while sitting me down on the couch. I got up quick because you know what happened that night I was looking for Justin.
"So justin you got suspended or what?"
Justin went back to playing his video games.
"No I didn't get suspended."
"So then why'd you leave school early."
"Because I wanted to skip."
"Okay."
Bryce came in and had a big smile on his face.
"Hey Emma."
"Hi Bryce." Justin looked at me after I said hi back
"Haven't been here in a while right Emma."
"Yep yep matter a fact Bryce I forgot to give you something." Justin got up quick and paused his game zach looked at us and stood quiet.
"What did you forget."
I got closer to bryce and then bam! I punched him in his face. "What the fuck Emma!" Bryce said holding his nose.
Zach gasped and his mouth left opened. Justin pulled me back and took me to the bathroom in the house.
"Emma what the hell was that."
"He deserved it after he hit me."
"But your gonna leave a mark on him you don't even have a mark on your face so he couldn't have hit you that hard."
"Really Justin look at this."
I wiped my cheek and foundation came off on my hand then there was a huge bruise on my cheek.
Justin stood in shock and touched it I flinched because it hurt bad then he went downstairs and slammed the door behind him.
