DAY THREE
The sun shined as bright as ever, just like it always does. I was still upset about the women who died the other day. It wasn't something you can get over. Ever since I came here I've seen countless of dead bodies and people getting killed, as beautiful as this place looked it was too good to be true.
I got up off the bed. It was early, but to the guys it was late. They got up as soon as the sun rises to train. I wanted to join them today during their training; I wanted to be as strong as them. There is much evil in this planet and I needed to learn how to protect myself. I wondered in the halls for a bit watching each of them train in different parts of the palace.
"Good morning Nikki, I see you have an interest in my son." Suzu smiled.
I jumped in fear not knowing he was watching me. I didn't hear a thing. I was gazing at his son training in the room.
"Oh no master Suzu, I was just interested in his training. I was hoping I can join him." I stopped and thought for a moment. "Wait, how do you know my name?" I asked.
"My sons tell me everything." He smiled. I looked at him and felt a bit nervous, did his sons tell him about my powers too?
"If you want to train I know the perfect person you can train with. I think he will have a great influence on you and he's very strong." He smiled.
I thought about which of the three he was going to let me train with. I knew it wasn't Hoshi, because he was the one I was looking at the whole time.
We walked a bit out of the palace as he led me to where I was yesterday. It was the beautiful garden with the benches and tulips. I couldn't help but think about the incidents from the other day. I don't know if I can handle it.
"Kentaro, my son come here." He called out. Kentaro stopped his training and made his way to his father.
"Your task is to train Nikki until she knows how to fight; I will bring in my finest fighter in the village three days from today. If she loses, I will be very disappointed. I expect to see you guys training really hard." Master Suzu said. I was surprised. Did he just give us three days? That was impossible. I was technically starting from scratch. This was horrible idea. We don't get along.
I rather learn from Juro than him. I could tell by Kentaro's face he was pretty upset about the situation too. I knew this training was going to be a nightmare. His father was serious about it. He gave each of us a stern look as he made his request. It was scary to see him come forth like that becuase he always smiled.
His father walks away immediately after his request to his son."Let's get started," Kentaro said. I could tell he was determined to start. I didn't understand what he wanted me to do. I just stood there like a lost puppy.
"I'm going to take out my sword and hit you with all I got and you're going to block it or make it disappear." He said with a smirk on his face. I looked at him with fear. Is this guy nuts, it was like he never heard a thing I said to him last night? I don't know how to control it; this thing just happens by itself.
"No! That's crazy. Can't we just start with something simple?"
"Like what?" he asked with a confused look on his face.
"Like boxing a punching bag or knowing how to use a sword." I smiled. He looks at me for a while.
"That stuff is for babies you're a women, you don't need to learn those simple things." I look at him shamefully, clearly, he was the dumb one, not the strong one. I stared at him upset. I was serious. He laughs at the suggestion I gave him.
