DAY SEVEN
Kentaro POV
As the son rose to the highest peak, I woke up and began my morning training as always. My goal is to be the strongest and fearless worrier in the world and defeat the evil god with my bare hands along with the evil creatures he created. I practice without the sword and with the sword hours by myself. I never practice with my brothers. They're not a challenge, especially Kano Kane; He was too soft and fragile.
During my training, I thought about Nikki and what she might be. Could she be a blessing from the gods like we are and for some reason lost her memories or was she one of the evil creatures the villager's gossip about? Hours past as I was in deep thought.
"Good evening Kentaro." Nikki smiled. I woke up looking at the sky and realized that I had been training since sunrise to sunset and fell asleep in between training. My mind was focused on many things that I haven't realized how hungry I was as well.
"Your father asked me to bring you some food." I took it from her hand and ate it right away. She sat beside me on the grass watching me eat.
"You eat like a hungry dog whose never been feed for months." I rolled my eyes and ignored her comment continuously eating like a hungry dog that I was. She grabbed my arm squeezing it tightly, looking at our surrounding like a scared puppy dog.
"Something is wrong. Hurry to the villagers." She says looking off into the distance as her hand rested on my arm. I looked at her as if she was nuts. Everything seemed well. If something were to happen, a villager would be at our palace asking for help. I shifted my arms from her hand to let go and continued to eat what I had left on my plate. She got up and walked away angry at the fact that I paid no mind to her.
"Help! The Buki (weapon) family has come back to torture us again. Help us guardians!" a villager called out heading towards the palace.
I quickly made my way to the village without telling anyone. I wanted to be the first to make the kill. It was quiet; all the villagers were in their houses scared.
"I see we meet once more Kentaro." Dai, the weapon of the gun says. He pointed his pistol at me smiling ear to ear. His short gray hair barely past his nose and his black Trench coat with crosses on it matched his shiny silver gun.
"Where are your comrades?" I ask looking around the empty village. Everyone was inside hiding.
"Sadly, father has sent me on this mission alone. I needed some time to myself." Dai smiles.
"I don't believe you!" I shouted. He looked at me and smiled, "Don't believe, but I shall tell you this riddle; if two heads are better than one, and for some it's fair to face one on one, the chicken says three eggs are alive and dead is one, but then whose alone on the run?" I thought about what he said, and it didn't make sense at all. I hated the stupid games he played.
"What do you want Dai?" I ask.
"There are many things that I want but, I might have to send you the list later."
"This is your last chance. Tell me now and stop your games!" I shouted.
He slowly walks over with his pistol pointing at me; he slightly bends his head towards my direction.
"She is what I want" I looked behind me noticing Nikki running in our direction. This girl was seriously getting on my nerves, and I was considering on making that deal.
"Why?"
"Well Kentaro, if you must know, I overheard the villagers saying you're keeping a beautiful girl who has powers of the evil creatures and a kind women had stated that she looks something like the girl behind you."
