Common Room

"FIRST YEAR'S FOLLOW ME" our common room and dorms are in the same corridor as the kitchen which is good for midnight snacks. I read this in a book I bought about Hogwarts, it says that to get to the kitchen access way all you had to do was tickle the pear on the painting near our dorm.
"everyone listening cause if you forget the password you will be drenched in vinegar"
after the prefect said that everyone's eyes went to her and it became so quiet that you would be able to hear a pin drop.

she knocked a pattern on the barrel of Helga Hufflepuff and I locked it in to my brain so I don't forget it. I was pulled out of my thoughts by the prefect telling where our dorms were. I quickly went up the stair case so I could have a good pick for the beds, I ran into one of many rooms that had first years on it and I went to the bed in the far corner on the right, because it was next to the only window. The beds had big yellow velvet curtains around them for privacy. I then found my trunk underneath my bed. And I saw Theo come though the curtains he then got nice and comfy on my bed "lazy cat" I muttered under my breath.

I heard the door open and saw two other girls walk into the dorm. So I went to go and greet them.
"hey my name is lily nice to meet you"
"Hi lily my name is Elisabeth but you can call me Liz for short" said a girl with long blond hair and clear pale skin.
"And I am Vivian I'm originally from Australia but I was born in China." said an gorgeous girl with beautiful long black hair. Overall they seemed like nice girls.
"How are you guys finding Hogwarts so far"
Vivian asked me and Liz
"I guess it's a bit scary, you know all the magic stuff is new to me" I said
"Yeah my mother and father are both wizards so I grew up surrounded by magic still a bit scary tho" said Liz
"Same my mum is a witch although i don't know much about my dad I only know that he is a muggle my mum refuses to talk about him" she says sadly.

We continue to talk till we fell asleep as there was only the three of us in the dorm since we got the smallest dorm with only three beds which is cool.
