Lucy POV

Sukatchi left us in the cell but at least untied us. We have no idea what he is going to do with us but its not going to be good. I sit here, lost in my own thoughts, mainly worried for Natsu's safety. I have been through this before and I don't want Natsu to go through it too. My childhood was even more horrible than it already was, because of Sukatchi.

I am suddenly torn from my thoughts when I realise what Natsu was up to. "IRON FIST OF A FIRE DRAGON" He yells hitting the cell door multiple times. From the way Natsu looks, I think he has been doing this for way longer then realised. This has now got me worrying even more.

"Natsu please, just stop, we're not getting out of here anytime soon and at this rate you'll hurt yourself" I plead as I try and get him to stop.

"Lucy, I'm not letting him hurt you,ever. You mean too much to me. FIRE DRAGONS WING ATTACK" A blush comes across my face and I am thankful that the only light in this cell is coming from Natsu's fire.

"Natsu please just sit down.......it would make me feel better" Natsu stops for a moment. Most likely to think about what I said.

"Fine but we have to find a way out" I hear his foot steps as he comes and sits down next to me and the still unconscious Happy.

"What are we gonna do......we have no contact to the outside and we can't get out of this damn cell" Natsu says obviously getting very annoyed.

Natsu lights up his hand so we can see each other. His face is all scratched up and the rest of his body doesn't look any better. I reach over and touch his other hand.

"As long as we are together that's all that matters" A smile comes across his face and a blush on mine. I look away for a little and wait for the heat to leave my face.

"Ya know what you said to that freak before how you want him to let me go and do what ever he wants with you" I look over at Natsu in a questioning tone wondering where he is going with this.

"I'm not letting that happen, no matter what.......I'm not leaving your side" His face is stern and serious when he says this.

"No Natsu, you have to go.... I'm not letting you get hurt. Sukatchi wants me and if you stay I'm only dragging you down and I don't want you getting hurt because of me" Tears start to form in my eyes at the thought of Natsu being hurt.

"Lucy, we are a team and teams stick together though thick and thin. When Happy and I asked you to be a team with us and you agreed, that was like a contract. So nothing will ever separate us" I look over at Natsu and what I do next even surprises me.

I grab his face with of my hands, pull him close to me and I kiss him. His soft lips against mine remind me of how long I have wanted to do this. At first it is tense but it soon relaxs and becomes passionate. I am enjoying it but I have to pull away to breathe.

Once I've pulled away we stare into eachothers eyes for what seems like a very long time but it not awkward, its just.......I don't know how to explain it but its great.

Natsu POV

Luce just kissed me. I can't believe it for myself but it was great. I've been wanting to do that for ages but I didn't want our friendship to be at risk because of it.

Now I just stare into her soft sweet eyes realising that this is what keeps me going. Lucy is what makes me stronger and I'm not letting anything ruin this.

"I love you Natsu" I hear Lucy say. I don't know if this is a dream or reality but either way, I don't want it to end.

"I love you too" I respond and a blush comes over both of our faces.

"You liiiiiiiike each other" The now conscious Happy says rolling his tongue.

"Happy?" Both Lucy and I say in unison, wondering how long Happy has being paying attention.

Happy starts rolling on the floor laughing and I can't help but laugh a little too. We are going to get out of this damn place alive and I'm going to protect Lucy with everything I got.

Sukatchi, isn't gonna win this time.
