I blinked my eyes a few times to adjust to the light that blinded me through the window.
"Hey handsome" Carson smiled as she kneeled down in front of me. I fell asleep on the couch and let her and the kids take my room for the night while rob and Noah went home.
"Good morning beautiful" she blushed and stood straight while I sat up.
"I'm sorry about last night" she apologized, making me smile and bring her into a hug.
She crawled onto my lap and buried her face into the crook of my neck.
"Don't worry about it. You'll tell me about it when the time'a right. It's not like I didn't know you were crazy." I smirked earning a smack to the chest.
"I'm not crazy." She gasped
I rubbed her back and laughed. We both stood up as the twins came out of the kitchen.
"Aj's crying" belly informed us then they both ran back.
We chuckled then made our way to the kitchen. I noticed AJ sitting on the floor crying surrounded by a few toys.
"Awe, what's wrong buddy?" I picked him up and rocked back and forth to calm him down. Eventually he did and I was able to sit down with him and eat some of the food Carson made.
"Thank you" I kissed her forehead after she nodded.
"Alright girls get your mess cleaned up" Carson told the girls while I took AJ upstairs to change his diaper along with changing my own clothes.
When I was finished, Carson had already cleaned the kitchen and had the kids by the door waiting with their things.
"Leaving so soon?" I pouted
She giggled and nodded.
"I have a meeting with my boss and a few other employees."
"Don't worry, my mom is watching them." She explained when she saw me look at the girls with a questioning face.
"Ok, have a good day then. I'll call you later." I kissed her cheek.
"What is up with you and all these innocent acts?" She pulled me in a kissed me, smiling into it making me laugh.
"Now, I'll see you later." She winked and walked out the door.
