Chapter 3

When I got home I told my mom I was going out tonight. My parents said I had to be home by 8. I told them I wouldn't be long since Hayes is picking me up at 6. I ran upstairs and started putting my outfit together. Once I got my outfit together I got in the shower. While I was in the shower I could hear my phone ringing nonstop. I quickly washed all of the shampoo out of my hair and went to see why my phone kept ringing. Elizabeth texted me and said "Omg go check twitter and see what Hayes just said!!" I also noticed I had many twitter notifications. I searched Hayes' username and saw his tweet. I think I died a little on the inside. His tweet read: I can't wait for tonight @emmasmith_ 😘" I couldn't believe it. I guess Hayes did like me. I still had 3 more hours before Hayes was picking me up. I went outside and practiced lacrosse. I saw Hayes running over from his house. He said "I didn't know you played?" I said "Well I do haha" I asked him what time it was and Hayes said "It's 5" I said "Oh crap, I need to go get ready!" Hayes said "See you at 6!" I quickly ran upstairs and straightened my hair. I put on some makeup too. I put on my jean shorts and a shirt from Victoria Secret. I fixed my hair and makeup and went downstairs. It was 5:45 so I still had some time before Hayes came over. Finally the doorbell rang so I screamed "I'll get it!!" Obviously it was Hayes. I walked out the door and we started walking to this pizza place right by our school. Hayes and I were meeting up with Lily and her boyfriend, Alex. When we got there Lily and Alex were already there. Lily waved and we sat down at the table with them. I was having a lot of fun and was really excited that I had some new friends that went to my school. We were done eating by 6:45 but we sat and hungout for a little while. I've only known Hayes for a day and I'm already in love with him. We left and 7:00 and we all walked back to Lilys' house. I had to be home by 8:00 though or else my parents would flip out.
