I'm Sorry

"Matt... I never thought you'd be killed... forgive me... "

I continue with my plan, but it means nothing now, I no longer care but I don't know what else to do. My heart is no longer in it, it's broken. Beating Near and being number one has always been my only goal, it was all that mattered to me, or so I thought. But now I realise, too late, that I already had everything I wanted and needed. I was the true winner all along, I won the moment that I won Matt's heart. Near can win every game in the world but he'll never have what I had, and he's gone now, because of me. My own insecurities got the one thing that truly mattered killed. I'll continue with my plan and give up my life, Near may thank me and some may even call me a hero, but I'm not a hero. I'm a coward, because I couldn't let myself just love and be happy, and now I can't go on without him, there is no life without him in this world. Nothingness would be better than a world without him, but I know in my heart and soul that we'll be reunited.
