Chapter 5

Hello lovelies. I'm ecstatic that people voted for my chapter. It makes me feel motivated. It's nice to know that there are people out there who read your chapter and appreciate it!

So I tried to make this chapter longer than the previous one. I had a lot of fun writing it.

I'll post the next chapter only if I get at least 6-7 votes and 2-3 comments!

Anyway ENJOY!

Parker woke up the next morning, feeling slightly better. As soon as he got out of bed, he tried to shift, but to no avail. His wall suffered two more holes because of that. He took a quick shower and changed into a sky blue button down shirt and dark jeans. After making himself look presentable, he proceeded to the dining hall. He wished a lot of people and talked to some of the higher officials of the pack, including his first beta, Kevin.

"Park, I need to talk to you." Kevin said seriously. Parker followed Kevin to a quieter area and his friend looked at him with anger.

"I met Miranda in the morning and she told me about your condition. Park you have to do something. This isn't good." Kevin said making Parker slightly angry.

"I know, Kevin and I've thought about it a lot. I'm going to give this a chance." Parker said warily.

"I'm really proud of you. You've made the right choice, Park. You won't regret it." Kevin smiled.

"Ella is such a great girl Park. You'll love her. Camilla took me to lunch with her and I can see how she's made for you. She's smart, innocent but somehow a little feisty too. She's strong and perfect to fix you." Kevin said.

"Thanks Kevin." Parker said with a slight lump in his throat.

They were heading back to the table when they saw Camilla running towards Xander worriedly.

"Alpha Xander! I was looking for Ella but I couldn't find her in the kitchen or dining room so I checked her room and she wasn't there either. He bed doesn't look slept in and her scent's faint too. I ran the forest edge and I could smell a fresh trail. I'm really worried, do she tell any of you where she went?" Camilla asked them worriedly. Hearing their conversation, Parker and Kevin ran to Camilla's side and started questioning her.

All of them were up in less than a second, rushing to Ella's room.

Xander opened the door and ran inside, looking for something that might lead him to his little sister.

"Xander, stop." Cher said suddenly.

Xander turned around to see Cher holding a piece of paper. He took it from her and as soon as he read the paper, the color drained from his face.

'Dear Xander,

Things are just not working out for me. I need to talk to mom. I'm going to her grave so that I can pray to the moon goddess for her presence. I'm sorry if I've worried you. I promise to be safe and will be back soon.

Love, Ella.'

Parker walked over to Xander and snatched the note from his hands.

"Bloody hell, Ella!" Parker bellowed when he finished reading the note.

"What's wrong with her? Doesn't she have an ounce of sense?!" He screamed more with worry than fury.

"Don't you dare talk about my sister like that. You don't know what she's been through." Xander growled, making Parker's heart clench at his words.

"Xander don't you know what she's done? She's casually walking into war territory! Does she want to get herself killed?!" He yelled running his hand through his hair- a frustrated gesture.
