Do you remember my love?

Do you remember when we bumped into each other in the hallway our 6th grade year? We both fell and my glasses broke. You got up and helped me up off of the floor and started apologizing, when our eyes finally connected it seemed like the world stopped. Even through my blurry vision, I could see how beautiful you were. We just laughed it off and walked away...Later that week you handed me a pair of new glasses and soon we became friends.

Do you remember when I went through my first break up and I called you crying? The next day during second period you guys got called down to the office. I didn't see you all day in our classes and when I got home I saw you with a busted lip and a black eye. You had a smile on your face and you said "He's sorry".

Do you remember our first high school party? We got so drunk that we confessed that we liked one another and made out. We pulled away after a couple seconds smiling at one another. Until you turned away puking everywhere. The next day was awkward until you pulled me to the side from peeping eyes of our school mates and kissed me. That was the day we started dating.

Do you remember the first time we fought? I came over to your locker to see a girl kissing you. I walked away crying and went home. You came to my house after school asking me why I wasn't in class. I confronted you and we began to yell until you finally explained that she forced herself on you. You pushed her away explaining that you were dating me.

Do you remember our first date? You came over to my house and picked me up in your pickup truck. You drove us to an open field a mile or two away. We laid in the bed of your truck looking up at the stars just talking for hours. That's how I found out you liked me since we collided.

Do you remember the time we said 'I love you' for the first time? It was our senior year and it was our two year anniversary. You took us to the beach a couple miles away and we had dinner on the beach. After we ate, we began to walk and after a couple minuets of silence you turned to me and we kissed. When separated, we looked at one another with our foreheads together, you whispered 'I love you'. With tears in my eyes I said 'I love you too'.

Do you remember after we graduated, we rented our first apartment in New York? We were so excited. We spent weeks unpacking and convincing our parents that we will be fine and that we'll visit. They were so worried about us moving to a big city so I don't blame them for pestering us if we were sure on moving so far from home.

Do you remember when you proposed? We went to France on a business trip of yours since you owned the business. We went to the Eiffel Tower and went to the top. When I was looking at the view you made me turn around and there you were on one knee. You said this big adorable speech and I said yes. You even hired a photographer to get a picture of my reaction.

Do you remember our wedding day? We had it in a slightly wooded area. I'm pretty sure that was the first time you seen my hair curly! You started to cry when I walked down the aisle. I can still remember how happy I was when I could finally call myself your wife.

Do you remember when the pregnancy test came back positive? We were trying to get pregnant for months. We tried one last time and it finally came back positive. We started crying happily. I've never smiled that much in my life.

Do you remember when we found out we were having a girl? You were staring at the screen with a smile, eyes full of love and awe. We got so excited that we immediately started setting up the nursery. We also started to pick a name for her. Our beautiful baby girl was going to be named Octavia Autumn

Do you remember when Octavia turned one? We were preparing her party. I was in the kitchen baking her cake while you were in the living room decorating. When I pulled the cake out of the oven you yelled for me to come quick. I ran into the living room to see our baby girl taking her first steps with a smile.

Do you remember going to the bar to celebrate with friends? You were so happy that you got expand your business to the UK which was a very big milestone and goal for you. You and some of your employees decided to go out to a bar to celebrate. I sat at the house waiting for you. When the clock hit around 3 am, I started to get worried.

I remember getting a call around five in the morning that you were in the ER. Everything came crashing down. I called a friend of ours to watch over Octavia. The whole ride there was torturous. I kept thinking of all the different outcomes that this could have. I just hoped you were okay. When I got there, I was told to wait in the waiting room. It felt like days before finally they called your name. I got up and ran towards the doctor asking if you were alright. He gave me a sad look and said my worst fears. "i'm sorry miss, we did everything we could." After that all I could remember was all the good times we had. All the times you made me smile when all I wanted to do was cry. When we held Octavia for the first time, when we said I love you, when we kissed, EVERYTHING. Now your gone, all you are now is a distant memory...
