Cisco strode through Central City's most beautiful park. The sun was setting and it cast an orange light across the city. The clouds were a deep pink that reflected in the parks pond. The pond itself was covered in blooming flowers of every kind and colour, the grass was vivid green and it rustled gently in the afternoon breeze. Cisco sat down on one of the parks benches, it creaked softly under his weight. He had come here often when his brother died. It calmed him, something about his place was so serene and beautiful that it whisked away his sorrows. Cisco sat back into the bench and closed his eyes. He inhaled the smell of fresh grass, it was something he didn't get to do in the city. He felt himself relax. Barry was still upset about Sebastian and his argument with Joe. Cisco couldn't blame him. Loosing someone that you struggled to appreciate is very painful. You don't know what you have until it's gone.

Cisco was worried about Barry, he had a rough year, but he seemed to be learning to cope. It wouldn't ever be less painful, Cisco could often find Barry staring into space or cradling his head in his hands, even if it had been over 365 days since his brother's death. He would always struggle with the loss, but soon he would learn to accept it as part of who he is. Pain is what makes humans, human.

Cisco suddenly became aware of the sound of footsteps on pavement, hurtling towards him at a frightening pace, he whipped around to see a figure kick him to the ground. Cisco was dazed and disoriented, but he knew where his panic button was, so he pressed it. Cisco steadied himself and looked up at his attacker. It was a man, he was wearing a mass of weapons of every kind, it ranged from daggers to bostaffs. On his head was a very clunky looking metal helmet with slits for eyes and several parallel, vertical slits were his mouth was.  Cisco crawled backwards, his eyes widened in terror. The man took a few more steps forwards, Cisco could vaguely make out the sound of people screaming, but he was more focused on his impending doom. The man raised a dagger high above his head, Cisco felt power pulsate through him. The man brought the dagger down but long before he could make contact he was sent flying back into a pond. Cisco got to his feet quickly, he began to panic, he didn't have his glasses, he couldn't control his powers. Cisco decided to run, he wasn't a fighter. He turned and ran, he heard splashing behind him, but he didn't look back, he heard thundering footsteps, but he didn't look back, he heard dripping, but he didn't look back. Cisco only finally looked back when he heard a thud, bump and a thump. An image of a man with a frown and blood splattering his white suite fluttered into his mind. He didn't have time to think about it.

Barry was fighting the man, but every time he hit him it was as though it had no effect. Barry dodged the man's attacks and continued to try and hit him. Nothing worked. Every time he hit the man down he would get back up as though nothing had happened, "what the hell?" Barry yelled.

"I don't think he is a normal human," Cisco yelled back as he edged away from the fighting pair. Barry decided to fall on his last resort. He felt the wind whip against his skin as he began to run in circles around the man. Electricity sparked off of him and began to flow through his body. Barry felt it begin to build, and slowly but surely he had enough to throw, and when he did it hit the man square in the chest, sending him flying backwards. He collapsed on the floor.

Barry panted as he turned to look at Cisco, "you okay dude?" He asked. Cisco nodded vigorously, he was just glad it was over. The pair cautiously approached the man's body. They couldn't ever be too careful. The man's dark clothing lay around him in a way that made it seem he as though he was melting. A spark of blue electricity erupted on top of the man and soon enough he was back on his feet. Barry took a few steps back, he had no idea what to do.

The man charged at him, swinging a metal bo-staff. Barry dodged as it connected with the pavement. He continued to dodge as he tried to think up a way of defeating his enemy, "we are fighting a man that gets up after every attack and can withstand my lightning throw, any ideas?" He yelled down his comm and at Cisco, who just shrugged.

"You could do a super sonic punch?" Caitlin tried.

"Nah that's too risky, we don't know his limits, it could kill him," Barry replied. He was beginning to ware out, the man was fast and precise, meaning if Barry didn't move he would be hit.

Before Barry could react he felt the end of the staff sweep him off his feet sending him crumbling to the floor, Barry had to move quickly before the staff came crashing onto the grass with a loud bang. Out of the corner of his eye Barry saw a shadowy figure, identical to the first come running into the park. He felt his heart droop, he couldn't take down one, never mind two. Barry braced himself as the figure drew closer, but the other man he had been fighting seemed to loose interest in Barry, he ran towards the other man and swapped his staff for a katana. The two clashed, they swung at each other and Barry couldn't help but stand in awe, it was like they were dancing with swords. His heart leapt into his mouth, he couldn't tell them apart. They were both dark figures with swords and the way they moved so quickly and impressively was confusing. They were clearly well trained in the art of swordsmanship.

One of the men managed to down the other by kicking his legs out from underneath him. The man fell to the ground, his armour clattered loudly around him. Barry watched as the other man sat on top of the first one, completely immobilising him. The one on top was definitely the new one, on his mask there was only two holes for his eyes that were filled in with a reflective glass that Barry was guessing was one way.  The one with eyeholes pulled a devise out from his pocket and pressed a button on it. Barry wasn't sure if he should approach them or not, he did not want to make enemy's with some sort of ninja society. He didn't get an option, eyeholes looked up at him, mouth slits struggled underneath him desperately, eyeholes gestured for Barry to approach them, and he did, but very, very hesitantly.
