"Are you sure this will work?" Barry questioned Cisco as he buzzed about his lab in a dazed rush, he didn't get a reply. Six and thirty were sitting in the corner of the lab with Caitlin, it was clear that they were amused by Cisco's constant rambling. In the middle of the messy lab was none other than the famous seventeen, he was tied down to his chair by massive metal chains. He struggled against them but thirty had already removed all of his weapons and tools that could help him escape. They sat in a massive pile on a desk just next to Caitlin. Barry huffed as he handed Cisco a screwdriver. Cisco fiddled with the back of seventeen's helmet, every now and the he would curse under his breath or mutter incoherent swears. Barry sat on Cisco's main desk, handing him tools as he needed them, but he was mostly just there in case seventeen got loose. The room was filled with hope, hope that they could save this poor man from being trapped behind his helmet and being brain controlled. Barry's heart sunk when he thought about the thirty people that were trapped and forced to become slaves for the man that calls himself master, even his name screamed a warning of evil.
"Alright," Cisco announced with a cheesy smile, "I think I have got it,"
Everyone in the room rose to their feet, they had no idea what was going to happen, so they wanted to be prepared. They slowly crowded round Seventeen, who had stopped struggling and seemed to have accepted his fate. "Are you sure his head won't blow off?" Caitlin double checked.
Cisco rolled his eyes, "for the one hundredth and seventh time, yes" he replied as he clicked something into the back of Seventeen's helmet. He then made his way round to the front of his project, "you guys ready?" Cisco asked them.
"As we will ever be," Barry smiled, he felt excitement clench his gut. He knew that very soon the man in front of them would be free.
"Alright, let's find out who you are," Cisco gently lifted the helmet from the man's head and clutched in his hands. Everything froze, Cisco didn't believe what he was seeing, a rush of emotions swamped him as he stared at Seventeen. He barely registered the noise of the helmet hitting the floor. Barry and Caitlin were stunned to silence. What they were seeing was not possible. Cisco felt himself begin to shake, he choked back tears and looked down on someone he never thought he would be able to see, ever again. All his senses were focused on the man in front of him, and the scariest part was, he hadn't changed, not one bit. "D-dante?" Cisco's voice trembled, barley a whisper.
The form of his brother glanced back up at him, his eyes were clouded with confusion and recognition, "Cisco? Wh-where are we? How did I get here?" He glanced around the lab.
"You mean you don't remember?" Cisco whimpered. He felt hope lift his chest and tears sprung to his eyes, he wanted nothing more to hug his brother and never let go, but he knew it was too good to be true, "how are you alive?" He asked with a stronger voice, he must be from a different earth.
"Still alive?" He stared at his little brother in shock, "what happened? I never died,"
"You got into a car accident," Cisco told him, "you died,"
"That's not possible," Dante was adamant, "how could I be here now?"
"You were raised from the dead," the voice of Six brought them all back to the present.
"Raised from the dead? That's impossible," Caitlin assured him.
He shook his head slowly, "no, I died yet here I am, Barry, it's me," he told them.
"Who?" Barry asked, he had a good guess but he didn't want to get his hopes up.
"Your father," he replied simply. Thirty turned to Six, he seemed to be shocked that the two men in front of him were related. So that must have been how Six knew the flashes identity, he knew him before he died
Barry wasn't sure how to feel, he felt elated and exited like a ten year old on Christmas, but confused and skeptical at the same time, "what? It's you? How can I believe you?" He rushed.
"For your tenth birthday you wanted so badly for us all to go to Disney Land, but last minute there was a storm and our flights got cancelled, so instead we stayed at home together, our whole family and we sat on the couch watching singing in the rain whilst it was pouring down outside," Six told them.
Barry felt numb, everything inside him felt numb, he was so happy and so sad that they cancelled each other out, "why didn't you say anything?" A whispered.
"Would you have believed me?" His father replied in a saddened voice.
