(Hello! This chapter is gonna be longer than usual and I apologize for that. But enjoy the chapter!)
3rd Person's POV
Mae looked around, the voices getting louder as they moved deeper into town. Fang, Lillith and Crystal's voices disappearing and all she could hear were the townspeople's voices. She stopped and looked around the town, following the voices.
"What is she doing?"
"She needs to lose some weight."
"I heard she killed someone."
Mae stopped with wide eyes (btw she has her right eye covered which you will find out why layer >:3) staring down. Lillith noticed this and touched her shoulder.
"Mae you ok-."
"DON'T TOUCH ME!"
Mae yelled swatting Lillith's hand way. Mae looked around then back at Lillith who was now pale with shooked. Mae looked at everyone else noticing Crystal already behind a tree scared. They noticed the eye she keeps uncovered is red and black,and black flames behind her.
"I-I'm so sorry L-Lillith...d-did I hurt you?"
Liliith just shooked her head no.
"What her problem?!"
"Why would she do that?"
"No wonder no one likes her."
"She doesn't deserve Fang."
That made her snap. She lifted her arm and the black flames grabbed the girl who said that. Mae brought the girl close to her and look her straight in the eyes.
"What did you say?"
Mae said her voice dark and scary. The girl struggled to get out of Mae's grasp but Mae only tightened her grip on the girl.
"Answer the question."
The girl came clean and repeated what she said. Mae tightened her grip even more, making the girl cough blood.
"Don't EVER let me catch you saying that EVER AGAIN! Do you understand me?"
The girl nodded and Mae dropped her and the girl scattered to friends. Mae blinked and her eyes went back to normal. Mae looked at the now terrified girl and gasped and covered her mouth with her hand. She then looked over to fang and Lillith who are now farther from Mae. Mae tooked a step back and let a tear fall and whispered.
"I'm sorry.."
Than ran off into the woods crying.
