Chapter XIII

Dark's POV 

I have no idea why I didn't replace my clock long ago. It stopped working forever ago so I have no idea how long I've been up. I can't seem to get a grip on things either. I feel as if this...(Y/N) character has something to do with it. That she really does know me somehow...After getting off the phone with her, her friend started crying. "Would you please shut up already?" I growled. She looked up at me with hatred in her eyes.

"I swear if you think you can hurt her, you've got another thing comin'" she snarled back, no longer crying.

"Then why were you crying?" I shot back.

"Cause I was thinking about what I'm going to have to watch when she shows up. Those were tears of joy. Satisfaction even, of seeing her tear you apart." 

I chuckled and bent down to her level. She was chained to the wall. I held her chin in my hand, turning her face to inspect it. "You really shouldn't speak of such things. Otherwise...I might just get a little....Impatient." I said, holding a knife to her cheek. What the hell is this girls problem? She doesn't even look scared! I stood back up and walked over to a table, pulled out a chair and sat down. "Tell me...Kelsey. How sure are you that she'll come for you?" I decided to try and make her lose hope instead of trying to scare her into submission.

"Oh, she will. Just you wait..." was all she said before she let slip and few curses toward me. Now I was angry. Standing up so fast that the chair skidded across the floor, I stood about six feet away from her. I wasn't waiting any longer. Holding the knife tightly in my hand, I was about to just stab her and get it over with when the rooms door up the stairs bust down, skidding to a halt by my feet. What the f- I turned around to see what the hell just happened, but (Y/N) had already launched herself at me. I was scared for a hot minute. Then I thought, Wait. I'm Darkiplier, why am I letting this human beat the shit out of me?

Your POV

You started to punch his face in the face (if you get this refrence, we are now friends) after you bowled him over into the ground. He looked like he was annoyed or something. "How!" You punched him. "Dare!" Again. "You!" And again. "Hurt!" Once more. "KELSEY!" You screeched the last word, bringing your fist down for one last satisfying hit but before your fist collided with his face, he disappeared. You stood up and looked around. Now he was standing a bit to your left, chuckling. You looked at a table filled with knives and grabbed a few.

"What makes you think I hurt her?" Dark said. You threw a knife at him, but he just disappeared again, showing up on your right now.

"You kidnapped her!" You said, throwing another one. He did the same thing as before, appearing right behind you. You repeated this process several times untill you were down to three knives.

"Ah. But I think you're the one who has hurt her." He whispered in your ear. You gave him a really confused look. He laughed darkly and pointed to your left where Kelsey lay slumped on the floor, a pool of blood forming around her. You dropped the knives you were holding and rushed over to her and held her head in your hands.

"Kelsey, Kelsey look and me hun. Look at me, please, just look at me." You ssid, your voice breaking. She lifted her head weakly and smiled when she saw you.

"It's not your fault." She said, before her body went slack. You stared down at her, horrified at what you saw. The first knofe you had thrown was lodged in her abdomen. N-no!

"Kelsey! Kelsey, please! I didn't mean to do it, wake up!" You said, shaking her shoulders. "Hey, you're gonna be fine, ok? You're tough, you can get through this. I know you can..." But she was already gone. You could feel it. You held her cooling body in your arms, cradling her, trying to maneuver your way around the shackles. "No..." You whispered over and over again. You'd completely forgotten about Dark untill he cleared his throat, standing right in front of you.
