Chapter XXI

You woke up the next morning with Google by your side. You were snuggled up next to him and he was radiating warmth.

It felt nice, compared to everything that's happened to you.

You stared at him as he slept, memorizing his facial features.

All too soon, he woke up, his eyes fluttering open and a beeping noise following.

"Good morning, (Y/N)." He greeted you, his voice groggy from sleep.

You smiled and booped his nose. "Good morning, Siri."

Google wrapped his arms around you, pulling you closer to him, burying your face in his chest.

You ran your index finger over his exposed collar bone, relishing this moment's peace.

"What do you want to do today?" He asked. You could feel the rumble of his voice against your eardrum aa your heas rest on his chest.

"I dunno...I like this though..." You mumbled.

You felt him chuckle as he began running his fingers up and down your back.

You giggled as he hit a ticklish spot.

Burying your face deeper into his chest, You breathed in his scent.

It smelles like warm vanilla mixed with a little bit of mint.

You loved it.

You would've gladly spent the whole day like this but unfortunately it was required for you to eat, you realized as your stomach began rumbling softly.

Groaning quietly, you sat up from bed, only to be pushed back down by Google.

"Stay here." Was all he said as he stood up from your bed and put on a shirt.

Giving you the motion for stay as if you were a dog, he backed out of the room.

"Hmpf."

Laying on the bed with a pouty face, you waited.

Before you knew it you'd dozed off.

Waking up to a gentle shake, you rubbed your eyes to see Google with breakfast on a tray for you.

"You didn't..." You mumbled.

He just nodded, handing you the tray of mouth watering food after you'd sat up.

"You deserve it. I mean, you've gone through so much shit and yet you're still here, smiling. How do you do it?" He asked.

You smiled shyly. "Google...Have I ever told you that you don't seem like an android to me...You're like a real person...No, you are a real person, and I love you."

With a gentle smile, Google kissed you on the forehead. "I love you too."
