Chapter 5

Millie's P.O.V.

I woke up to Finn shaking me. He was already dressed. "Is everything okay?" I said sitting up realizing he was in swim trunks and a t-shirt. "Yeah, get dressed. We are all going to go to the cliff and jump in the water." He said. "Okay." I smiled and stood up on my bed and hugged him. "We will be outside." He said. "Okay, love you." I said walking to the bathroom to get changed. "Love you." He said walking downstairs.

I put on my black bikini and put jean shorts over the bottoms. I walked downstairs and outside. "Hey Mills!" Sadie said walking over to me and giving me a hug. "I like your swim top!" I said hugging her. "Oh thanks, I like your too!" She said. "So I thought we had school today?" I said. "It got canceled." Gaten said. "Oh did it?" I asked. "Yeah." He laughed.

Finn walked over to me and put his arm around me.

When we got the the cliff Gaten ripped off his shirt and ran to the cliff and dove in. I looked over and into it. It was really far down, which didn't help since I was afraid of heights. Sadie walked over to me and took her shorts of. "Scared?" She asked. Her bikini was red which looked cute with her hair. "Yeah." I said stepping back. "Oh come on it will be fun!" She said. Noah ran forward and jumped in. I watched him. Him and gaten were now climbing up the very long rope latter. Caleb can over and put his arms around both of us. "Ready ladies?" He said laughing. Finn ran forward and screamed "She's my girl!" Pushing him in. "That my boy!" Sadie screaming jumping in after him. Me and Finn laughed really hard. "Coming?" Finn said grabbing my hand. "I don't know.... it looks scary." I said pulling my hand away from his. He frowned. "I know it looks bad but it's not. I promise." I looked up at him. "But...." he cut me off. "I'll hold your hand." He said putting out his hand for me to hold. "Okay." I said putting my hand in his. "One.... two...." he started saying looking at me. He saw me about to step back and chicken out but he picked me up and yelled "THREE!!" And jumped. I held of as tight as I could and screamed.

We hit the water and he let go of me. I opened my eyes under and saw fish. Cute. I swam to the top to find Finn panicking. "You okay?!" He said swimming over to me. "Yeah!!" I said. He smiled and we climbed up.

After a couple more jumps we all started to head back and stopped to get some ice cream.

We were all in Sadie and my dorm when Noah said he was going to go to Jacks with jacks friends and invited us all. We all said yes and went to jacks.

When we got to Jacks, Noah hugged jack and jack hugged him back. It was cute. We went inside and Jacks friends, Wyatt, Jaeden, Jeremy, and Chosen were all there. We all sat around and talked a lot and decided we would all go to the cliffs tomorrow again after school.

Like fifteen minutes after we had gotten there, Sophia showed up and gave Gaten a big hug.

We all talked and had a grill out. After, we all went back to our dorms. Finn came and stayed with me in my dorm and kept me company since Sadie was never around my dorm anymore. Well that's what he said but I think he just wants to hang out with me. I hope so.

I woke up. First this time, Finn still sleeping. I got up and changed. I brushed my teeth, hair, and face. "Finn wake up, we have school." I said softly shaking him slowly. He sat up in bed. He looked at me and smiled. "Everything okay?" I asked because he had been staring at me for a while straight into my eyes. As if he was looking straight into my soul. "Yeah, I'm just so happy your mine." He said grabbing my hand. "I am too." I said smiling and sitting on the bed next to him. "I love you, Millie Bobby Brown." He said kissing me on the cheek. "I love you, Finn Wolfhard." I said as I got up and walked downstairs.

After a long day at school, we all walked back to our dorms to grab our bathing suits. We were going to meet up with Jacks friends.

"Hey!" Noah yelled to Jack running over to him. They hugged. "Hey!" Jack said. Fins arm was around me and we walked over. Everyone jumped in and me and Sadie just watched while we sat on the cliff watching the boys have fun and tanning. "This hot weather is so nice." Sadie said looking up at the sun. "Yeah." I looked at Caleb who dove down. I looked back up at the sun. "Come on." Finn said grabbing my hand and pulling me up. "I don't want to." I said putting my arms around his neck. "You had fun last time." He said smiling. "But." He cut me off. "Come on, I'll hold your hand. "Okay."

We walked over and he took my hand. "One.... two.... three!" He screamed as we jumped in. When I hit the water we let go of our hands. I felt myself getting pulled under the water. Then, I hit me leg hard and blacked out.

I woke up in a hospital bed with my leg in a cast and Finn was next to me holding my hand tears streaming down his face. "H... hi." He managed to say. "Hi.... where am I, what.... what happened?" I looked around the room. Sadie and Caleb were sitting on a seat, both asleep, Sadies head laying on his shoulder. "We were at the cliffs and and...." he was now crying to hard. I squeezed his hand. "I was the one who told you to jump.... it it's all my fault. I'm I'm so sorry." He managed to say barely forming his words. "Finn." I said he was looking down at our hands. He looked up at me tears still falling down his face. "Yeah?" He whispered. "It's not your fault." I said. "Yes it is I pressured you into doing it." He said. "But I didn't have to."

That moment the doors flew open. "MILLS!" Someone screamed. I looked over. It was Gaten coming over to give me a hug. I hugged him back. "Gaten! Gentle!" Finn said. I looked at Gaten. "Is that pudding on your face?!" I asked. "Indeed it is!" He said smiling wiping it off his face with his sleeve. "No fair! Your using my hospital advantage to order pudding?!" I said. "Of course!" He laughed.

It was night and Finn hadn't left my side. Everyone else had gone home except Noah. Noah refused to leave the bench outside the room. He came in once but burst out into tears and ran out. I think Jack was there for a while to comfort him but eventually left. I made Finn check on him every now and then. From what Finn had told me, when I jumped our hands let go and I never came up so he went under and found me. They called the ambulance where the doctors said I had broken my ankle in various places and lost consciousness from being without oxygen for too long. They said I probably hit it on a rock or something.

"Finn, you can go home. I'm okay." I said squeezing his hand. "No." He squeezed it back. He was sitting on a chair next to my hospital bed holding my hand. "I didn't want you to leave anyway."
