Kat's POV
As I pulled in the driveway I was immediately tense and afraid especially since I don't have Sophie. Dom said he would watch her while I get stuff settled. It's weird because I don't see Charlie's car anywhere. I hope he didn't go to a bar. As I got out of my car I went to grab the mail and out of the corner of my eyes I see Charlie's car and somebody else's around the corner of the house. As I walked in the door I saw a pair of pink converse and I only know one person who wears those and it is one of my best friends Peyton. I called out his name my voice shaking because I'm worried about what's going on,
"Ch-char-Charlie "
I got no response. When I walked up to my bedroom door my heart shattered into pieces hearing Charlie and Peyton's voices and moans. My legs felt stiff I didn't know if I should bust them or just run. I spent 4 years with Charlie 4 years and this is what he does to me.Then I ran to my car and drove to a local movie theater parking lot and cried til I could barely breathe.
Dom's POV
I feel so bad for Kat she has spent 4 years with that ass and he freaking slapped her. Sophie was lying on my lap nervous because she missed her mom. I just wish that I could hold her and kiss away every tear that she has, so I can see the bright little redhead that brings joy wherever she goes. I am extremely nervous about Kat going to see him again. What if she can't run away. I thought to myself that I should go and be sure that she's okay. But then I remember her hugging me and saying that she'd promise me that she'd tell me if something was wrong.
Kat's POV
When I finally calmed down as much as I could I thought about calling Dom but then I feel like I should call Em because I haven't talked to her in a bit and I kinda need some girl help right now. Then I called and it just kept ringing, come on Emeraude. When it went to her answering machine I hung up. Then I called the one other person that I trust completely.
Dom's POV
My phone started buzzing while I was watching a movie I ran to go get it and saw that it was Kat. Oh no.( bold is Kat normal is Dom)
"Kat! Kat are you there!"
"Yeah Dom can you p-please c-come to Cinema 64 near my h-house please"
" Of course are you okay please tell me"
" Not really but please come I really need you Dom"
"I'm on my way now I will see you in like 10 minutes"
"Okay th-thank y-you"
" No problem be right there Kit Kat"
As I ran out the door Kat's voice saying Not really but please come I really need you kept repeating in my head until I got to the theater and saw Kat's car.
Kat's POV
When I got of the phone with Dom I had a slight smile on my face because of him calling me Kit Kat with his British accent and it finally set in I love Dominic. My thoughts were interrupted when he opened my passenger door and pulled me into his embrace.
"Kat what happened"
"When I got home I-I-I s-saw.."
Then I started sobbing again thinking about one of my best friends and my boyfriend having an affair behind my back. Until Dom pulled me onto his lap hugging me. I nuzzled into his neck and whispered into his ear
" He ch-cheated on me with P-Peyton"
I felt his embrace get tighter around me and he kissed my cheek.As I cried onto his shoulder.
Dom's POV
My heart shattered for Kat when she whispered into my ear what that asshole and bitch did to her. When she finished I hugged her tighter never wanting to let her go and kissed her cheek. Then I cleared my throat and said,
" please stay with me tonight"
" b-but w-what if he -"
Seeing how nervous she is because of him pisses me off.
"WHAT IF HE WHATS KAT? HE'S AN ALCOHOLIC WHO CAN'T SEE WHAT HE HAS AND APPRECIATE IT. HE DOESN'T SEE THE BEAUTIFUL REDHEADED GIRL WHO'S SMILE CAN BRIGHTEN THE WHOLE DAMN ROOM SHE'S IN. THE STUNNING GIRL WHO'S TRIED TIME AFTER TIME TO HELP HIM. THE GIRL WHO'S SMILE MAKES MY HEART STOP WHENEVER SHE SMILES. HE CAN'T SEE HOW MUCH HE'S HURTING YOU"
She is now sobbing and shaking looking away from me my hands still on her waist.
"Kat I'm sor-"
"Did you mean everything you just said"
"of course I did "
And then she leaned in and did something I wanted to do since I layed my eyes on her. She kissed me. My arms wrapped around her waist pulling her closer to me, tasting her tears that now stopped running down her perfect face. Her hands were in my hair pulling lightly. Saying this was a dream was an understatement.
