Nicki placed her luggage by the door and sighed heavily. She was exhausted. The drive wasn't the worse part but it definitely wasn't fun.

Her arms ached from carrying the luggage up to the hotel room her and Angela would be sharing for a month.

It was September 12th, the first day on the case and already her insides were jittery and her palms sweaty.

Sure, talking to Nigel and convincing him that she was the one was somewhat easy, but her nerves were shot once she realized how long they had to bring this Nasir guy in. Of course this wouldn't be easy but Nicki was just as much street smart as she was book smart.

"Damn that was a long ass elevator ride." Angela spoke as she entered the suite they shared. She dropped her luggage on her bed and plopped down next to it.

Nicki looked at her getting comfortable, her head on the pillow and her tired body laid out across the sheets. "What are you doing ? We can't sleep."

"What?" Angela's voice was muffled into the pillow.

"We have a job to do."

"Onika, we have a month. A whole month to catch this dude. I'm sure one night of rest won't hurt. I can't function when I'm.. this tired." Angela dosed off and Nicki shook her head.

Nicki then grabbed her suitcases and placed them on her freshly made bed. She unzipped it and putting away her belongings into her space.

Looking at the clock, it read: 12:25 A.M. They had both been up all night and she had to admit she was tired.

Grabbing her laptop, she laid on the bed and propped some pillows to support her back. Looking over the files of Nasir, she studied the case a little more until she eventually dosed off.

The next morning..

"Nicki, wake up!" Shaking her gently, Onika barely moved.

Angela shook her again, this time harder. "Nicki."

"Hmm..." Nicki mumbled with her face stuffed im the pillow.
"W-what is it?"

"It's past 10 and we have shit to do today." Angelina explained, standing up straight.

"Okay, okay. I'm up," Nicki sat up quickly and rubbed her eyes whilst yawning.

"I ordered breakfast already."

Nicki simply nodded and grabbed her now closed laptop.
She reopened it and the screen that she was on last night, popped back up.

"I don't know where to start."

Angela looked back at Nicki as she applied lotion to her body.
"What do you mean?"

"I mean, where do we start with this? No one even knows where this dude is."
Nicki asked.

"Well before we left, I did some research. It's Friday and him and his boys go to a real popular club downtown every weekend. From what I was told, he'll be there tonight." Angela explained as she threw on her shirt.

"That's great n' all... but how does that benefit us?" Nicki asked as she clicked away on her laptop, not really finding anymore useful information.

"I have connections. We get there and we're in. I made sure that we're able to get into Nasir's section."
Angela further explained.

"Okay and from there.."

"We leave with them. It's simple. Just act real thirsty."

"Thirsty? So you're telling me we might have to.." Nicki trailed off as her thoughts consumed her.

"I never said this would be easy. Sometimes we have to do things we're not so comfortable with." ..."You get close to him, you find out more than you really intended to."

"I guess so."

"Alright now go shower. We have things to do in very little time."Angela said as a knock on the suite door sounded, indicating the room service was here.
