Shard 13

I couldn't go to sleep the rest of the night. I woke up at 9:28 a.m. This morning looking like the dead girl from The Rings.

I decide to go supper market shopping today since there's a really nice bargain. Maruchan, here I come!

But guess who I encounter along the way there?

"Yo, Good morning" Kaito greeted as he got in the same elevator. Shoot, if I pressed the button fast enough, I could've left him behind.

"G-Good morning" I hesitated as I moved away from him (like 4 feet). How can you expect someone not to be scared of you when you forced an kiss on them yesterday?! This dude is acting like nothing ever happened yesterday.

Kaito looked at me and chuckled. "Whats wrong with you?" I asked. "Nothing. It's just funny how you are keeping your distance away from me. Is it because of yesterday?" Kaito replied. 

"O-of course not" I said as my face turned red. "Besides, I already forgotten what happened anyway because I could care less about it" I lied.

"Oh, I see. Should I make you remember the second one then?" Kaito asked as he grabbed my chin. My face literally exploded with steam. How could he say such things so calmly?!

But he wasn't kidding because he actually started to lean in. I tried stopping him anyway I could. I even tried pinching him on the neck to stop him from doing it. 

But then, my life was saved. The elevator door opened. There were dozens of people waiting out there in the lobby. They saw us, in that weird position. 

I take that back, matter in fact, it's getting worst. One of them just took out their phone and took a quick picture of us. Just kill me already.

"Ahhh! You see he's drunk so don't get any wrong ideas about this" I corrected them in a heartbeat. "I'm drunk? Where did you get that funny idea from?" Kaito asked as he moved away from me. I'm bout to slap this dude silly.

I gave him the signal to play along in this scenario. And guess what, he started to listen to me.

"Oh god, I think I over did it last night, don't you think?" Kaito asked so dramatically. I looked at him. "Yes, after all you did robbed my refrigerator clean" I replied as I started helping him out the elevator. I started limping as I walked to the exit to make it seem like it was for real.

I heard one of them said, "Are they a couple or something?"

Me? Him? Lady, you be tripping. I'm not dating a bastard like him. And there is no way, not ever, in my entire life that I'm gonna have a relationship with him!

Don't you just enjoy it when the girl doesn't want to admit their love? It's like every anime and manga series ever! Now I'm making stuff to obvious, don't worry there will be another twist.
