Chapter 21 : I volunteer!

Sasuke's PoV~
My eyes twitch in annoyance and tries to calm myself
"Your doing this on purpose huh.." I turn to glare at the hokage, who only smiled 'innocently '

"Now now Sasuke-kun, I didn't do it on purpose.. it's the truth.. this mission, according to the leader on this village.. they need someone who can use byakugan , and I'm sending you as a back up for this.. so we can truly show the elders that you're worth trusting again.. so.. any objections?" I let out a sigh at his long explanation and glare at him

"Then who are you going to send from a hyuga clan?? Hanabi? Hinata?" He just shrug at my question which made me even more piss off

"We'll see who will Hayashi send.. he might send Hanabi instead you know" he raise a brow at this and shoo me away

"Now now, off you go Sasuke-kun.. pack your things and you'll be leaving first thing tomorrow" With that, I turn on my heel and left the office, letting out a heavy sigh I sat down on the hokage's figures as I stared at the sky

It's been 3 weeks after that incident with Sakura.. all was back to normal like nothing happened..
"I acted on impulse..." I mumbled to myself, I stare at my hand and clench it tightly

"Sasuke??" I turn to my back to see Ino and Sai

"What are you two doing here??" I raise brow at them in a question manner, Sai was the first to speak though

"Ohh, We're here to have a picnic nearby.. what about you??"

"Going to relax alone but you guys interrupted me" Ino sigh at this and shake her head

"Come on Sai, let Sasuke alone.. it was nice seeing you Sasuke-kun, we'll be on our way" she waves at me and drag her boyfriend with her

"Too much expectation huh.." I lay down on the ground, and frowns at this, Sakura was given a day off , she'll be back after my mission..

Sitting up, I dusted myself and went back to my apartment, locking it behind me, I went straight to my room and prepare my things..

{ In the Hyuuga Compound }

Hanabi's PoV~
I let out a giggled as Hinata-nee put flowers in my head

"Hinata-nee! This is really gorgeous! " I smiles at her, who smiled back at me

"Thank you Hanabi, so .. are you going with me??" I tilt my head confusely and stare at her

"Where??"

"I'm going to change the flowers in Neji-nii san's grave.."

"Oh.." I look at her and smile sweetly at this, she didn't change after all.. she's still the loving and caring sister..

"Sure! Neji-nii will be glad to see me grown up !" I fist bump in the air and grin at her happily, she blinks at this and lets out a soft laugh

"You bet he will" she mumbled softly, we sooner got up and pick some flowers

After that, we bid father that we'll be visiting Neji-nii's grave, and surprisingly!! He wanted to come with us!! Kyaaaa!! Best dayyyuuuu. eeeveeeerrrr!!

We three went out and went to the so-called place..

"Neji-nii~!! You won't believe who just went with us!!" I squealed and kneel down on Neji-nii's grave

"Father came with us!! With his own will!!" I added happily and squeak again,

"Your making it sound like I didn't want to.." Father chime in, I pout at this and waves my hand, Hinata-nee chan kneel down and change the flowers as she lets out a soft laugh

"I'm sure Neji-nii san will be please to see us all" she mumbled and smiles at the grave, It feels like I can see Neji right now in my eyes.. smiling at us..

"Hmm.. yeah.. he is" I chime in , grinning at this happily

A few hours pass by , me and Father went ahead, Hinata-nee chan said she's going to trim and pick out the grass.. Father tried to help but.. pffft! He got scolded by Hinata

Hinata's PoV~
I was picking out the grass while talking to Neji-nii san when the breeze turns cold

"It's getting cold Nii-san.. I wonder if it's going to rain" I smiles softly and look at the sky, it was bright orang with some faint blue on it

"Do you still remember, we used to see this kind of sky whenever we finish our training? You always sneak me out to see this beautiful sky.." I turn to Neji's grave and touch it

"And I know, you're now in there, watching me.. I'm so thankful you showed me the things I didn't know they exist.. " I let out a sigh and stood up, ready to leave.. I heard some faint footsteps but I choose to ignore it.. maybe it's just some random person visiting their love ones..

''How I was so wrong of that..'

"Hinata??" I turn back to see.. the same Black eyes, raven hair I've come close to..

"Uchiha-san.." I bowed to greet him and looks at him, I see him frowns at this

"Why family name now? Am I stranger to you now??" I blinks in surprise at this, quite shock by it

"N-no! Of course not! I..it's just.." I stutter before I look down, not knowing what to say anymore.. I felt the wind blow on us suddenly.. I turn to see him, but Sasuke was already kneeling on the ground, putting the flowers on a grave..

"They finally..put Itachi's grave here.." he mumbled lowly, that I faintly catch his words
"We're going on a mission tomorrow.. Hanabi and I.. " he added without looking at me

"What?!? Hanabi?!? She can't! " I almost yelled but clench my fist

"I.." I look down and turns away
"I've got to go.. goodbye Uchiha-san!" I turn to run ahead but I catch his words making me halt

"Don't say goodbye.." I glance at him, faintly blushing from his words.. I turn to my heels and runs ahead, to our residence ..

The guard opens the gate and I went to run to my Father's office, to see the anbu, Hanabi and Father there

"Oh there you are Hinata.. We were about to discuss the mission that the hokage is assigning us..-"

"Father please! I volunteer! I'll take Hanabi's place! This is an S- rank mission.. I.. please let me handle this one!" I retort to them, I clench my fist in my heart and looks at them bravely,
I saw Hanabi smirk at this and shrug off

"Well.. since my dear sister said she's gonna Volunteer.. I'll remove my place and put Hinata-nee's name instead.. tell that to the Hokage" Hanabi ordered, the anbu nods and finally left

"Well? You better pack your things Dear sister~" she winks at me and I instantly froze..

'Wait.. what.. Did I get myself into?' I nervously thought at this .
