This story is based in New Orleans, Louisiana and before the story starts I want to clarify some things. 1. I am not from New Orleans so everything might not be 100% accurate. What I state is from what I either heard or witnessed from natives. 2. There's a lot of slang and things people might not know if you're not familiar with New Orleans. With that being said I'll explain a little of what will be stated in this story.
Shaking- Similar to twerking, but it's not. I can best explain it by saying it's when you move your butt in circles and/or up and down. Sometimes incorporating shoulder movements(swiggle). The movement is really in the legs, I guess lol. If you're really good at it, you can hit splits, flip over. I'll probably be adding a lot of bounce songs so y'all can see in some of the videos.

Dipping- A dance some boys from New Orleans do. Girls can too, but it's mostly guys that I see. It's when they move to the beat of the song. It's slight moving, nothing fast paced. I can't explain this for real neither. 😩
Clack- Basically making your butt cheeks clap together.
Buku- Hella
Ribbing- Joaning(that's what we call it where I'm from) talking about somebody.
DJ- Where people go and they play bounce music. Like a block party type of environment.
Second line- People do this for weddings, funerals. I think for other occasions too. Jazz music is played and you dance/walk down the streets. Y'all can look that up. I actually have a video of a wedding that had one when I was there.
That's a dirty beat- The bounce mix is really good. I'm pretty sure y'all would understand that's what it means though. 🤦🏾♀️😂
