Chapter Two

{Kacey's P.O.V.}

My body was numb. At least I can't feel anymore pain. Except for the burning feeling of the bite on my neck. The burning has died down though, but it still hurts.

Where am I, anyways?

I forced my heavy eyelids open, and looked around me. I wasn't in the woods anymore, I was in someone's room. The room was a light shade of blue, with a creamy white colored fan placed in the middle of the popcorn ceiling. The carpet matched the fan, just like how the door and the closet was a dark brown. I was laying in a big queen sized bed, covered in band-aids, a gauze, and then the cast on my right arm. Beside the bed was a small nightstand, with small plastic bottles that must be my medicine.

"Do you think she's awake?" I heard a voice, the same one that belonged to the boy that carried me. I hoisted myself up with my good arm, while trying to use my right hand to keep myself steady. It wasn't working too well. I got unbalanced and fell onto my right side, right onto my broken arm. I cried out in pain, gritting my teeth and shutting my eyes.

"Whoa there! You're not supposed to be moving yet," someone chuckled. I opened one eye to see the boy gently helping me into a sitting position on the bed. He was cute. I remembered his bright green eyes, because they were so mesmerizing. He shook his head, making his black hair fall into his eyes. The ends of the strands of his hairs curled, his hair went to the midsection of his ears. The creamy color of his skin looked translucent in all the bright light.

"W-Who are you? Where am I?" I asked, my head full of questions, but those were the most important. I stared the boy down, waiting for an answer.

"My name is Logan," he said softly, a small smile spreading across his flawless face. He smiled wider as he looked over his shoulder, he stayed like that for a couple of minutes. I had no clue why, but then two boys walked through the door. Both had huge grins on their faces.

"That's Jared," Logan said, pointing to the one on the right; the one that's just a bit shorter then the other. I wonder if Logan and Jared were brothers, it's not likely. They don't look alike, you can see the difference easily. Jared had the whole helmet hair look, it was a chocolate color and straight unlike Logan's. He had mossy green eyes, darker then Logan's bright ones. Both looked fit with their broad shoulders and muscles easily spotted from their slightly tight shirts.

"And I'm Nathaniel, but you can call me Nathan," the tallest introduced himself. I put on a warm smile as he walked up to 'my' bed. He looked completely different from both other boys. Taking on honey colored hair and navy blue eyes. He was much more muscular, and there was a hint of a mustache. "May I ask what your name is?" Nathan asked quietly, giving me an assuring look.

"Kacey," I answered simply. I get nervous when people are surrounding me. I like to keep a low profile. I'm the shy, quiet girl that reads and stuff. Not the attention addict, loud, slut type. The boys looked like the typical jock. With their extremely good looks. You got to admit, they're pretty damn sexy.

"Well, Kacey, do you know why you're here?" Nathan asked, a more serious look on his face. I pursed my lips and looked down, cringing as I remembered everything that happened. And then something dawned on me, what exactly happened to Austin?! My head snapped back up, and I looked into Nathan's eyes.
