Curled up in his arms felt like a dream come true. Not everything came true, but just laying my back against his chest and having his arms wrapped around me securely is heaven. We were watching a Disney movie only because he wanted to watch Up just for me. When the old couple; Ellie and Carl, the scene came up, he tightened his arms around me and rested his chin on my shoulder, whispering about our future being like that. I smiled widely and he kissed my shoulder. I loved being in this position with him. I started to think about the future as he held me and as the movie scene kept playing. 'What would our future be like?' I thought to myself.
The scene became sad as soon as Ellie fell going up the hill, that's when a small tear came rolling down my cheek. The sad scene kept going and he held me closer. "Don't cry, babe." He soothed me by rubbing my forearms up and down. "I'm not." I sniffed, clearly lying to him. "This scene is just intense you know?" He chuckled and kissed my head. "I know babe. But hopefully, our future won't end up with one of us dying alone. We'll die together." With that said, a smile crept on my face and I wiped the tears. "I love you," I said. "I love you too." And we kept on watching the rest of the movie.
