When I met Magda after this she asked: “Soooooo how was your History?”

“It was okay. And your Biology?”

“I wasn’t listening to the teacher at all. I was messaging Matt.”

“Oh. So you are sure that you fell in love with him?”

“Yes, Luna.”

“He’ll break your heart.”

“How do you know? You’ve never been in love. Or did you?”

“No, that is true. But...”

Then Ashton came around and smiled at me: “Hi Luna April.” He said.

“Luna! Was that the new boy?!” Magda asked curiously.

“Yes. It’s Ashton. We got History together.” And I smiled.

“Luna, I can say that you successfully fell in love.” She laughed.

“Ah yeah, maybe.”

“Not maybe, but for sure, Luna.” I hugged her and went to my next class. I really loved Magda but I didn’t want to talk with her about Ashton.

After lunch I found a letter into my locker. The most perfect words on a piece of paper:

“The Sun will never fall

And your heart will never break

I won’t fall, or maybe yes?

I want you with me today.

Today at 8pm, in front of the school. Ashton.”

I put a big smile on my face. I couldn’t wait for evening.

I went home and my dad started to yell at me. I didn’t say nothing just grabbed a knife. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING WHEN I’M TALKING TO YOU?!” he shouted.

“Nothing, I need a knife, I want to open an envelope.”

“NO, LUNA APRIL SMITH, YOU WON’T GO NOW, I’M TALKING TO YOU!”

“Okay.” And I went to my room. I held the knife, started to cry and made a cut on my wrist.

-Later-

It was 7pm so I started to choose my clothes. I wore long-sleeves blue hoodie with Superman logo, grey skinny jeans and blue Converse shoes. I was on my way to school to meet Ashton when my phone was ringing. “Hi sweetie, where are you?” asked the voice in the phone.

“Oh, hello Magda. I’m going nowhere, sitting at home. Why?”

“We are going to the cinema. Don’tcha wanna come with us?”

“No, thanks.”

“Why?”

“Homework.” I didn’t know what to say.

“Oh, okay. Bye then.”

“Bye.” And I took the phone to my pocket.
