JINX

Its finally Saturday and I get to sleep in or at least that's what I thought but Harper and Bailey had other plans, we going shopping oh the joy I can't believe that we are currently walking into the mall the one place that I hate more than school

But we having a party and apparently I need a new dress so I agreed to let them drag me along not that they needed me to agree, now we are in identity while bailey tries on a beautiful emerald dress that shows just enough skin but she is still modest and it sets off her green eyes and hair, we have been to what feels like a million shops and everyone has an outfit except me until we walk into this tiny shop where I have never been before and as if struck by magic there is my dress a stunning light blue with white lace detail all over and a cut out back I tried it on and it's as if someone made it just for me.

After the dress shopping, I was excited that we decided to go drink milkshakes and then we went home

Dad was asleep on the couch and Regina was watching her favorite TV show when we got home that afternoon "Hey girls dinner is on the stove if you hungry", "thanks, mom we ate already but maybe a bit later" Harper shouted while climbing the stairs

Regina and my parents were always close and after my dad died her and my dad become even closer until the day they decided to give their love a go and to be honest I couldn't have asked for a better step mom she was always like a second mom and my dad stepped in when Harper needed a dad the most so they are just as close which is awesome and how many people can say that their bff is actually their sister... so we were cool with it when they decided to get married last year in a small ceremony in Hawaii we were on the beach and got wear little white dresses while she wore a light coral dress that looked like a mermaid just walked out of the ocean she looked beautiful and the sun shined like a spotlight on them that made me feel like mom and uncle john were there to support their decision to be together... but now they are so comfortable together she doesn't even mind that my dad is a laid back writer who sometimes goes days without shaving not that his beard ever looks scruffy , or that he doesn't mind that Regina can sometimes be a little bit erratic and forgetful they love each other as best friends first and then as husband and wife...
