11. | CAN WE BE FRIENDS?

AIDEN MILLS TURNED AROUND WHEN THE LOCKER BEHIND HIM OPENS. He catches the eye of his ex girlfriend Scarlett Hall. He knows that she hates him so much that she could kill him. But they haven't talked since they broke up. So he starts the conversation.
"Hey." Aiden looks down for a second, being afraid of her reaction. He closes his locker.
"Bye." She says rude, she walks away. Scarlett doesn't want to talk to Aiden. And he knows it.
He grabs her wrist. "Let me go!" She hisses. Her eyes spitting fire. She tries to push him away.
"Just let me talk to you, please." He begs. His face is covered with fear and regret.
Her eyes soften. "Just make it quick."
"So I know that you hate me-" "-damn right." Her voice is filled with rage.
"But I want to say sorry, I know it was heartless and horrible to cheat on you, but can we stay friends?" Scarlett frowns, she liked him as a friend, but he cheated three times on her.
"Can we at least try?" Aiden asks. He knows that he should've stayed with her. That all the other girls weren't like her. All he wanted was a last chance.
Scarlett let's out a silent sigh, while thinking about her choice, "Okay then, but only friends." Aiden was relieved, he never thought she would forgive him or would be his friend again. With that thought he walked away.

Authors note/little rant This is a small filler chapter. The next chapters are going to be huge and have a lot dialogues. *cough* They meet. *cough* I'm very excited for them, I hope you are too.
Yes I know everyone hates Aiden, but Scarlett is just too good for this world. She believes everyone deserves another chance and that everyone can change. So they try. But ya know, everything can change.
