Monday had finally rolled around and the atmosphere around Liberty High was different. As soon as you stepped foot on campus, you could feel it. Not one student knew what the exact feeling was but they knew it was something. (a/n stupendous vocabulary amirite? 😂)

Montgomery once again tried to get ahold of his girlfriend that morning. Once before he left his house, and once more when he arrived at school. Each time, his call went unanswered.

Now becoming frustrated, he began to think. Did I do something wrong? We were fine a few days ago.

Pulling out his phone again, Monty went to Jeff's contact and clicked on it. If he could answers from anyone regarding Jasmyne, it would be Jeff.

Monty held his phone up to his ear, listening to the ringing tone go on and on. His hand clenched and unclenched, getting nervous at the possibility that he did something to ruin their relationship again.

He just didn't know what it could possibly be.

Calming himself down, Monty told himself that they were probably just running late or they had family matters to attend to and that he'd see her later.

The bell rang and all of the Liberty High students rushed inside, beginning to go to their classes when the intercom came on.

"Every student to the gym for an important assembly, I repeat every student to the gym. You have five minutes!" The students recognized the voice as Mr. Porters

Across the hall, Monty could see Marcus. When they made eye contact Monty mouthed to him: "Did you know about this?"

Marcus just shrugged and shook his head.

Entering the gym, Monty walked over to the side of the bleachers where he saw Justin, Zach, and the others (Alex, Jessica, Hannah, Tyler sitting behind them all)

"You guys seen Jas?" Monty asked when he sat down next to Justin, Jessica sat on his right.

"I actually haven't seen her since Jess's party." Zach spoke from the bleacher he sat on below.

Alex, Jessica and Hannah nodded, saying the same as him.

"Who the fuck cares?" Justin rolled his eyes making Monty and everyone else raise their eyebrows at him.

"Hell do you mean who cares?" Monty cut his eyes at him "I fucking care."

Justin huffed out a chuckle "Well she didn't fucking answering my calls when I needed a pla- when I needed her advice like she said she would."

"Advice for what?"

"She wasn't answering you either?"

Jessica and Monty both spoke together.

Justin ignored Jessica and answered Monty. "No she wasn't so I don't exactly give a damn about where she is right now."

"Okay everyone settle down." Mr Porter spoke into the microphone, making everyone direct their attention towards him.

Before Mr. Porter could speak again, the gym doors opened and in walked Clay Jensen.
