My ego was the size of Texas and I really didnt want to text homeboy uglaass first. After explaining the situation to Gena, she encouraged me to text him. After mentally fighting with myself i eventually decided to text him.

My heart thumped against my chest in an irregular beat pattern. Wait why the fudge do i even care. Gena busted out laughing, i must have been thinking out loud. "Girl u is in lovvveee" I rolled my eyes at her childish behaviour. I dont know what it was but it was like me and Gena instantly connected, like we knew each other for ages.

His last text had me blushing mad crazy. "What gat u over blushing like that for" "Girl im not blushing i think its time for you to go home, sleep gat you imagining things." She walked out smirking mumbling a "girl please you only fooling yourself".

I ain gonna lie, but i barely slept last night. My thoughts kept going back to mamma and her husband. You know what really saddens me the most about that situation, is my mamma knew what was going on and she still did nothing. I even went as far as showing her one day when Nathan(her husband) wasnt home.

I was about 9 or 10 years old at the time, my sister Genavieve had ran away from home about one year prior to when it all started happening. Me and her was close as hell we were 2 years apart and i blamed myself for her running from home. Momma would sit around all day and smoke packs of cigarettes and drink when she didnt have to go to work. "Momma i gatta tell u something... i gatta tell u something important." "What is it child, i ain gat all day." "Nathan's been doing things to me when you go to work".
"Things like what" He keeps touching me in my private areas and playing with me...everytime i try to run from him he would hit.me with anything that comes to his hand" My mama sat up from her sitting position and slapped me on my left cheek."Who the fuck you think i am to believe all those lies you telling on my husband, without him we would be living and eating out of fucking dumpsters, if you dont get your ugly ass in that room lying through your teeth.....dont you think i gat bigger things to worry about than your dumbass lies" Hot tears streamed down my face as i remembered what happened when i told my mother about the things that was done to me. After that day my mother and i never had a relationship between us.....ever again.

After what felt like centuries of me crying i finally fell asleep. The next day came and i got dress quickly for my only class today. After doing my hygiene stuff, i threw my hair in a bun and got dressed in some comfortable joggers,my adidas originals and a regular white tee shirt and my raybands to cover up the redness of my eyes. Today i just wanted to chill and i wasnt interested in getting dressed up or nothing.

After my class i bumped into the one and only Anthony. "Ma we gatta stop meeting like this, and why you wasnt by the courtyard where we was supposed to meet. "Oh sugar, i totally forgot about that". He laughed at my choice of words. "Where you wanna get started" he asked. "Anywhere i really dont care".

We decided to do it at his apartment. His apartment was not so far from mine. When we entered in i expected to see some pig pen but it was surprisingly very neat and tidy. We couldn't decide on the all around topic of our webpage, so we just talked about our interests , hobbies and whatever else came to our mind. Anthony what is your greatest fear? " Leaving the world knowing i didnt accomplish anything, how about yours? "Ummm roaches?" He laughed and said "Man come on Lena stop playing" "Ok i guess my biggest fear would be not knowing what happened to my sister and reliving my past again." "You had a rough past huh" I saw that he was deep in his thoughts as he said that"Yup very rough, i take it you did to" "Yeah but we can talk about this shitty stuff later i dont wanna get in my feelings. Especially not round you".

After our discussion we ordered Chinese and watched Moana
Yes of course it was chosen by yours truly even though we fought over the movie.
Ive been standing at the edge of the water long as i can remember never really knowing why...i wish..i can be the perfect daughter but i come back to the water no matter how hard i tryyy every trai..
"Lena if you dont shut your ass up i swear to god im gonna smack you" "You just mad you cant sing as good as me. You a hater!" After the movie was finished i went home. Ha!! you thought it was gonna be some cliche mess where i sleep the night and i wake up in his arms. You thought! Although Anthony seemed hella cool i barely knew him and i had major trust issues.
