Beads of sweat formed at the crook of my neck as I waited for his next move. Mom had just left for work. This was the routine; she would go to work, he would come in to my room and do what ever he wanted to do. He would beat me, rape me, torture me. Whatever sick thought popped up into his mind. Today was no different, he came into my room and I was mentally and physically prepared for the worst. He came to the side of my bed and touched me on the side of my face saying how much he loves me and how beautiful I was. He pulled off his pants, along with mine and began to touch me and

This was how every day began for me, my alarm clock would wake me up reminding me I had a horrible nightmare about my past, my brother would call me to remind me to take my pills and it would go downhill from there. Let me tell you'll a little about myself. I'm about 5'3, I'm what they would call fat,or curvy and I have smooth chocolate covered skin. Im 20 and I just recently got accepted to LSU and I'm trying to start a new chapter in my life.

It was my first day down at LSU and to be honest I was a little nervous. I didn't have a dorm on the campus, I lived about 2 blocks away in a inexpensive apartment. Today I decided I was gonna wear my maroon colored crop top hoodie, my high waisted light washed jeans and my maroon hurachis and my hair was in a mini bun at the top of my head.As I walked to school I had my earplugs in blasting in my feelings by Kehlani and my hoodie was over my head.

As I made it to the school grounds I walked into a male body. I slowly looked up into the some mocha light brown eyes, he had curly hair and he was light skinned with straight pearly teeth. Lord have mercy. All this time I was examining him I didn't hear what he was saying.

" your lil stuck up behind needs to watch where the hell you is going"

5_4_3_2 ...I couldn't make it to one because i just went off. "Nigga don't you dare stand there and pretend like you know anything about me before I pop you in your mouth. You the only one with the stuck up behind gat your head far up your ass...dont talk to me like im yo child hell you thought this was".

All I felt was when someone came behind me and covered my mouth. When I looked down I realised they had freshly manicured nails and didn't know who it was. The person let go of me and took me by my hands and dragged me to the courtyard while home boy and his idiot friends was holding him back, like he was gonna actually do something. "What did you do that for and who are you"? I asked the girl who had the audacity to interfere.

"Listen boo I did that for your benefit cause that is the wrong one to mess with, he has a hot head and doesn't think twice before he lays his hand on someone, Female or not. Oh yeah and my name is Ranae you can call me nae".

"Thank-you nae for your assistance but trust me his temper isn't worst then mine. And my name is Alena but you can call me Lena". Thank God she came when she came cause I know that wasn't gonna end well cause I'm not interested in no drama.

August P.O.V

...... but the only thing like home I've ever known until they snatched it from my mamma and foreclosed her on a loan I'm so sorry that I left you there to deal with that alone I was up in New York city chasing pennies getting dome had no clue what you was going through how could you be so strong how could i be so selfish... I'm from New Orlean's and I've had a tough past I'm just thankful that playing ball helped made a difference in my life. I could have been behind bars or laying 6ft under. Instead I got a scholarship for my skills to attend LSU. I live about a block or two away from the school . I stand about 6' I'm what they call light skin, I have curly hair my mama was white and my sperm doner was black. Im a sophomore and I'm bout to be 22 this month. I hope some of them new freshmans be hella fine.I was always a lady's man so I know it's bout to be lit.

As me and my best friend Chris walked to get to our first class on time I felt someone bump into me. I immediately looked down. I aint gonna lie lil mamma was beautiful, she was curvy in all the right places, had a lil fat booty, a nice tummy she was looking good; but she seemed stuck up. Before I could stop myself I heard myself say "your lil stuck up behind needs to watch where the hell you is going". Before I could say something lil ma just popped off.

But she ain't know who she messing with,she better be glad Renae came and got her cause God knows what I what have done cause. Ranae was Chris' lil cousin. And she knows my struggle and knows I can't always control my anger. But something told me that ain't gonna be the end of me seeing lil mama.
