Chapter Twenty

Katherine's POV:

Now, how are we going to get to the shore of the Bermuda triangle? Our car was trashed!!!

I felt angry and determined to go and beat that Hybrid and take my mate back. No matter what.

I was currently tapping my feet on the ground because I didn't notice that I had a big chunk of window glass on my back, so Angelina was helping me clean the wound. "hey Katherine, Congratulations, You didn't tell me that you already had the mark of speed." Do I? I turned my head towards. "I do? I don't remember getting it. Can you take a picture, I want to see it." So Angelina took the picture and I was mind-blown it looked like a thunder slash. Like the scar of harry potter, like the thunderbolt Percy Jackson supposedly stole, like-- okay I'll stop.

"I guess I got it when I was running away from the wolf Mr.Sepherus killed. " Yes, no wonder my back was burning. My new mark was under the first sun mark of strength. They were appearing in a line. "Wouldn't it be great if you unlocked all the marks before we got to the underworld? Wouldn't that give you like much more power? Angelina suggested. "I don't know if that's possible."

"For a hybrid it is. They evolve much faster and their body accustoms to a new mark much quicker than a normal vampire. We could try. " Sensei Gin said. I felt a small amount of hope rising up. "We could take the opportunity that we have to run to the nearest town that is like 10 miles away, to train in the way. Mobility training. " Sensei Gin grin. I didn't like that.

Yup, not at all. I'm not liking this training at all.

I was currently carrying all their backpacks, with Kiona on top of my shoulders, hearing her scream to me that I had to run faster to try and keep up with the rest; wasn't very pleasant. I was running much slower than the rest because I was carrying a cow and four black holes of backpacks.

"Come, Katherine! We have to strengthen those legs !" Headmaster Elizabeth said looking towards me. "Start doing squats and run at the same time !" Sensei Gin order me. I tried to but Kiona was just too heavy. After the third time, I finally got the hang of it. "Why am I doing these silly exercises? " I asked myself because it made no sense. I didn't think Sensei Gin would hear me, but he did.

" You are a bender, an earth, and a fire bender. Earth is a very powerful element, therefore you must have strong legs in order to lift the earth. In order to control it, your body must be strong and this exercise will give you a heads up at the type of stances that you will have to do. Powerful, stances. Like if you were in the toilet." I was liking the other quiet Gin better.

"Besides, this way your body will evolve quicker and by the time you get your next mark your body will be ready for it." Headmaster said. "And what happens when I get the final mark ?"

"You become the original hybrid." Kiona said.

That sounds... great!

Motivation: On

I started running with much more speed. I needed all the power I needed to save Sepherus. I was going to do my best. Kiona grabbed my head with a little too much force. But I didn't care, I needed to make my training count.

We decided to stop for a few hours to eat and bathe near a waterfall. I took a quick bath not wanting Sensei Gin to see me. Thankfully inside the waterfall was a hole where the water fell. Perfect for taking a cold bath.

I was going to eat when Sensei Gin told me that we should practice the stance and breathing positions that I needed to learn to be able to control my firebending and earthbending.

So I stood up and follow Sensei Gin that was walking towards a high piece of rock that was neck to the waterfall.

"Alright, fire and Earth are opposites of Water and Air. Therefore each one weakens the other. For you to be able to weaken air, you must use earth and to weaken water, use fire. The hybrid won't use air when you are firebending because it will strengthen your fire abilities. In order for you to master your bending abilities, you must imagine yourself, see yourself moving the earth, controlling the fire. We have little time, therefore, it is up to you if you get to master them or not. This mastering takes years, you'll have to do it in a matter of days."

Years? I don't have that time. "I don't have that much time!" I was getting frustrated. "That's why I will make a small time dimension so that you can train there for about a day. Inside you will have a year to train. When you come back it will only be a day. You will enter with Sensei Gin. By the time you get back, we will be on the border of the Bermuda triangle." Kiona. I looked at her with shiny eyes. "That is sooooo cool."

I was literally jumping up and down. She did a spell and a small black square appeared. "You will enter it and don't worry. In a day at this same hour, I will use the reversed spell to take you out of the time dimension." Kiona said. I nodded.

Angelina hugged me and told me to train very hard. I nodded firmly and I said goodbye to everyone and we enter the little square. This was a big opportunity.

This was going to be EPIC.

The place was dark but there was a door and I opened it and I felt somebody a.k.a Sensei Gin kicking me and I started falling and falling and falling until I got bored of falling but just then, I hit the ground with a big bang. Ouch. That hurt!

I got up and tried to clean myself from all the dirt I had on my clothes. I looked around and there were trees all over the place, sand as well. And big rocks scattered around. "Alright, let's begin." Sensei Gin was already in his battle gear. I didn't even bring mine. I regret changing to a simple white t-shirt and black pants.

He took out a sword that looked very familiar. Oh, wait. That's mine! "You won't use your sword. You will master first the elements and then how to control them with your sword. Understood?"

What!? My baby! I wanted my sword. But nevertheless, I nodded.

He ran towards me and we started sparring.

Angelina's POV:

Headmaster, Kiona and I were on our way to a small town nearby. When we got there, Headmaster stole, yes, stole a car. What a great role model! And we were off to the Bermuda triangle.

I hope Katherine is alright. It's been about 5 hours since she entered the square dimension of Kiona. "When we get to the Bermuda Triangle, we have to act like a tourist. There may be wolves around the area looking for Katherine, we have to take it as an advantage that she is not here with us. "Kiona explained. Headmaster and I nodded.

*** Fast Forward***

We had been able to arrive at the Bermuda triangle coast without any more encounters with wolves. When we got there we quickly got out of the car and we started looking for Kiona's friend. We found him at a bar. He was human. An old man with a big belly. "Hey, Mr. Whiskey! No time no see!" Kiona said sitting next to him. "What do you want now? He said taking another sip of his whiskey. "I need you to take us to the border of the Bermuda. It will be fuuuunn." Kiona sang at the end. "No." He simply said. "I'll kill your wife and children if you don't do it" WOW. That escalated quickly. Kiona scares me.

"Alright, alright, alright, I'll do it. Dang you elf." He got up stomping his feet. It was funny to watch. "See. He'll take us." Kiona innocently smiled at Headmaster and me. I have a small smiled.

I was having a bad feeling. Oh, God. I don't know how to swim. And we're going to the Bermuda triangle. Somebody get me a floater right now!!
