Katherine's POV:
It's about two days since we started our journey to Vampire Capital City. It was even farther away than what I thought. Although we had left the mountain side, we had entered a forest that was ever colder. I grabbed my jacket tight to my chest. I made a small fire ball to heat myself a little bit.
The sun had already started to hide behind the horizon. So we decided to camp for a wild. I sat down in soft green grass. I looked upwards to see the sky adore with stars. Welcoming a soft cold breeze. Sepherus sat next to me.
"Babe, Are you alright?" I nodded. I just wanted to relax for a bit. I put my head on his shoulders. The Noah spoke up. "For hybrids, do they need much sleep?" "Well, not really, only when I use my abilities or a long amount of time. Or if I'm tired and haven't drunk any blood. My wolf traits start predominating in an attempt to keep me alive." I explained. He said nodded.
At this moment I felt tired. Neither Sepherus nor I had drunk a single drop of blood in respect of the fellow werewolves that were with us. But sooner or later we would have to hunt. My head was feeling heavy, guess my body started to change dominating sides. "If you want, you can lay here and I go hunt us something to drink," Sepherus said as he stood up. I nodded.
I laid in the grass contemplating the magnificent view I had. The dark sky, the stars, the sound of the waterfall, the insects. It was amazing. I slowly started closing my eyes and drifted away from this world and into dream world.
I was walking towards a white house. It was beautiful. Diamonds cover the walls, chandeliers hung from the ceiling and the floor was made from marble. I started walking up the stairs. I wasn't wearing my fighting attire, I was wearing a long white gown, similar to that of Cinderella, but white.
There were two ways in which I could go, but before I had the chance to go left, there appeared a woman. She was beautiful. In a dress a color champagne. Her eyes blue as the sky itself. Her skin pale as milk. Her hair black as the night. She was breathtaking.
"Katherina...my child." She embraced me in a warm hug. Her hug made me feel safe, like a child embracing his mother after a long day of school. " Come and find in Vampire Castle City in the north part of the city. Up this way in the forest is a passage that leads to the city without encountering the dangers of this forest. Just follow the blue sapphire rocks that I have put in the tunnel. They will light up when they sense your presence.
Please, when you get to the city, wear capes to cover your face. It's too dangerous. HE might see you. After you arrive, you will be in the east part of the city, go to the church in the north part of the city. There, we will finally meet.
Katherina, if there is danger, don't encounter it. Run. Get here as soon as possible. Don't forget that I love you."
With that, the dream finished and I woke up. I was covered in sweat. I felt as if she was next to me and then she vanished. I looked at Noah and the other werewolves. "I had a dream with the queen." I stated. They all stopped what they were doing. "What? Really! What did she say?" The youngest werewolf warrior asked.
"She gave me instruction as to get to vampire castle city. She told me that near this place is a way to get to the city faster and without much danger. I think it's underground. She also said that we should follow the blue rocks that will light up with our presence, that when we got the city, to wear capes so that he doesn't see us. I have no idea who she was talking about."
I stopped for a second. "She's talking about the king." Noah said. "Why would he want to hurt us?" I asked. In that moment Sepherus came back. "I heard everything, and there is an underground passage. "He said as he put two small dead rabbits on the floor. "That's great. Let's move. Oh, yes, She told me that if we saw danger, to run." I said as I stood up.
"Yes, because if they get kill, that will notify the King," Noah said as he shielded his sword. "Alright. Let us get moving." Sepherus said. Before we started to go our way he cut the rabbits, took out the blood and gave me a cup. With that, I didn't feel tired anymore. Heck, after the dream, I felt alright. Energetic!
We found the passage and we decided to enter the passage without the horses. The two warriors shifted into big brown wolves. They were so fluffy. I wanted to play with them. We started running, as I passed, the rocks, in fact, lit up. Everything the Queen said was true.
On the way, thoughts roam in my mind non-stop. Who was she to me? Why did she care so much for me?
I decided to ask Noah about my father. King Leonardo. "Noah, can I ask you something?" "Of course my queen." He said. "Tell me about my father."
He gave me a sad smile as if he was remembering. "Well, he was a special being. Down to earth even though he was of royal blood. He was very sweet and warm-hearted, always caring for his people. He was a brave leader, always taking risks in order for his people to sleep without worries. He was a role model. I always looked up at him. When he died. It was devastating. Everything fell apart and then we got attacked by the humans."
"If it wasn't for the Queen, we wouldn't have made it. She's always been kind, taking care of us, as much as she can. Even though the king threatened her that if she helped us, she would kill her, she has been very brave to keep us from the hands of the humans and vampires. " He sadly said.
"She seems like a good person." I sadly smiled. "Yeah, she is." He gave me a huge smile.
After few hours of running, we saw a small light at the end of the tunnel. We were close but out of nowhere came out a big, green, hideous troll. He screamed with all his might and started running towards us. "We'll have to jump over it and avoid it, Katherine!" I agreed with Sepherus and we did that. But one of the warriors was grabbed, he cried in pain as the troll started crushing him in his hands.
Before I could comprehend what was happening, Noah took out his sword and quickly made his way to the troll and without hesitation cut the hands of the trolls, and free the warrior. We all started running away from the screaming monster.
The warrior started healing and after arriving in the city, the two werewolves shifted back and they were okay. I was able to relax for a second knowing he was alright. The youngest one was called Teo and the one that almost got killed was called Titus.
We put on some capes and exit the secret passage that was underground. We had to come out of a drain, we waited until we hear everything was quiet. Luckily, it was still night.
We speed walk and tried to walk as normal as possible, but it was obvious we were in a rush. My heart pounded a million per second. I was finally going to meet her.
We reached the church. And I was nervous. I felt sweat in my hands. Sepherus put a hand on the head on my back. I breathe in.
Open the doors. And there she was.
She was, even more, breathtaking in real life.
"Queen." Sepherus and Noah said simultaneously. They both kneel down. I guess I was too mesmerized by her beauty that I didn't kneel down.
"Que--" "Katherina." She said getting closer to me.
"You're finally here."
