I lock the guest bedroom door and rush to the bathroom. Tears stain my cheeks, I've been pondering my decision to leave for an hour. Emmett tried talking to me, but after a half an hour he gave up. The hour I was thinking I just continued to pace around my room to try and calm down.
I know I have to leave without him knowing, but I know I won't leave without saying good bye. It's a little after midnight, sleeping alone just didn't feel right, so I walked out of the room and into Emmett's room. I lay down on the bed next to sleeping Emmett, I poke his arm.
"Emmett?" Emmett just turns around and groans, he starts feeling around the bed, I slip my hand out and he grabs it, slowly pulling me into his chest. I lean into his chest and inhale deeply, it was the last time I would get a chance to smell him. I don't know what I am going without him. All want to do is kiss him, just one last time, so I peck his cheek, lean back on his chest and drift into a dreamless slumber.

I wake up around 4:30, I only slept about 3 hours, so my actions were pretty groggy and lazy. I packed some clothes, hygiene products, and a picture of me and Emmett. The only picture we've taken together. Before I leave, I write a note, and leave it on his bedside table.
Emmett, my sweet Emmett. I'm sorry I left, but I did it to protect you, you must believe me on that. I love you more than I thought I ever would. I never wanted to hurt you, that's why i'm leaving actually. I suppose no matter what I do or say, me leaving will never be justified unless I tell you everything. If I tell you everything, I'm afraid you'll do something you'll regret and i'll never see you again. Don't look for me, even though you probably will no matter what. You just need to trust that I love you and If I can, I will come back to you, I love you Emmett. I love you so much, and I'm so glad I met you. So glad I had you for a mate, because you are kind, and funny, and worthy of so much more than me. I love you Emmett, never forget that I love you. I hate good byes, especially towards you, so for now. I'll see you later.
I kiss him cheek once more, and turn for the door. I stop before I walk out, a single tear slipping down my cheek, "Goodbye Emmett, I'll always love you." As i walk down the stairs i run into Kyle.
"Where you going?" He asks, worry in his eyes as he notices my tear stained cheeks.
"Kyle, i need you to promise me something."
"Of course Luna."
"Don't tell Emmett" A traitor tear runs down my cheek, "At least until he wakes up."
"What do you mean Luna?"
"I'm leaving Kyle, i have to."
"I can't let you, Emmett would kill me."
"Emmett will be killed if i don't leave, someone bad is after me, leave it at me." His eyes open wider and his mouth gapes.
"I can't do-"
"Promise me!" I use my Luna tone and he nods vigorously. I place a hand on his shoulder and turn to the door.
I escape the house and leave for the woods, I take one last look at the house, and leave.
