"i'm a musician."

he runs his hand along the back of his neck, nervously.

"oh, are you?"

she doesn't seem nervous at all.

"yeah, i actually write and perform with a buddy of mine."

"so you're in a band?"

"yup. we're called twenty one pilots. have you heard of us?"

"maybe."

"you don't seem impressed?"

she shrugs.

"i might be more impressed if i actually saw you play."

"we're playing a show tomorrow night, you should stop by! i can text you the info."

"sounds good, i will be there."

she smiles and reaches for the check, only to be stopped by tyler.

"nope, i got this," he insists, gazing at the gorgeous blonde sitting across from him.

"i like you, jenna."
