After finishing my potion I stuffed a jar full of the concoction and set it on my shelf behind me along with many other filled jars.

I fed my cat, Galadriel, and then I made something for myself. I don't need to eat, but I still get hungry and I enjoy it.

I whip up some sandwich and go to my dining area realising the knife on the floor.

Huh, he forgot his knife.

I picked it up and sat down. I flipped it open and looked at the blade. 'Anti' was carved into it.

It was very well balanced and sharp as hell. I flicked it closed and began to eat my sandwich.

I walked up to the door, I opened my front door and there, on the porch, about to knock, I saw the demon.

He averted eye contact, staring at the floor he began to stammer.

"Yeah, I-I forgot my knife, would it be ok if I can possibly get that back?"

"Hm." I walked back and grabbed the knife off of the table.

I could see the front door from the here. I walked back to the door and held it out for him to grab.

"Thank you." He took it and walked away.

I closed the front door.

The sun was nearly set. I picked up my plate and took it to the kitchen and washed it.

I walked into my room and got changed into something comfortable and laid down.

I sat halfway up and grabbed my grimoire, scribbling in it. An hour passed and I began to feel the effects of the day.

I laid back down and began to think.

What could he have meant when he said he needed me? And why me? I mean, there are a few more powerful witches than me.

I continued to think about this until I drifted off into slumber.
