"Stop it!" I screamed, this couldn't be happening.
"Get out of our way!" yelled the man
They were breaking into my car. One man grabbed me and threw me onto the pavement while the other searched my car for anything valuable.
"I guess if we don't find anything of worth we could just take you," the first man sneered then pushed my head back down with his hand.
I gritted my teeth in agony and tried to reach for my cell while the man wasn't paying attention. I felt around on the floor until I touched something metal, I found it! I quickly typed a text to Caleb telling him where I was and what was happening.
I was just about to hit send when the man stomped on my hand with his foot. I screamed when my phone broke under my hand, sending shards of glass into my palm.
"Think you're so smart?" The second man challenged. He pulled my head up and spit in my face. "Take her," he ordered his companion.
The first man picked me up off the ground and swung me over his shoulder, that was when I saw my chance. I kicked him in the gut and pushed him off me. Then sprinted towards my car, thank goodness they hadn't taken the keys.
It took the leader a minute to long to figure out what was happening. I was halfway to the car by the time he turned around to check on his associate. I didn't stop to see if he was following me, I couldn't risk him catching me.
I unlocked the car, started the engine, and drove off before I even shut the door. I tried turning on music to help me get my mind off of what happened but it didn't seem to help. I couldn't get the image of those men out of my mind.
I checked the time on the dash, 11:27. My mom was going to kill me! She expected me home by 11 sharp and my phone was crushed in the incident.
That's when I remembered my hand. I pulled into a parking space to examine the damage done to my hand.
It was worse than I thought. My once white jacket was bloodied all down the sleeve and glass fragments the size of my finger nail were stuck inside my palm. I looked more closely and saw that my finger bones were sticking out of my flesh.

Then everything went black.
