I'm just going to slip this in here. I know its been crazy ages, and that no one's probably reading this anymore, but I had this almost finished, so I thought, why the eff not. For anyone who is still reading, I'm really sorry, I had some stuff going on.
The song for the chapter is Hard Day's Night by the good old Beatles.

The next morning, Jade woke up to the pleasant morning sunlight, smushed between Hannah and Claire with a not so pleasant hangover. She groaned, "Guys, gerroff me."
They let out similar groans of their own, each wishing they hadn't drunk so much the night before. Jade shouldn't have even gone out last night, but Claire had called and verbally abused her and Hannah till they'd caved.
"What time is it?" Claire said through a yawn. She winced and laid a hand on her forehead, wincing again when she ran her hand down her long blonde hair and realised how matted it was. Claire was your typical blue-eyed tall thin beautiful person, except when she was completely make-up free. Then she looked a little like a bald eagle with her pale skin and blonde eyelashes. You'd think she was a 'popular crowd' kind of girl, but she was a hugely awkward person until she got comfortable in her surroundings, and she had a terrible habit of always thinking she was right about everything. She had the biggest heart though, which was why they'd been friends since year eight.
Tim walked into their room, "It's already eleven. It's about time you guys got up. Reed is still passed out on the couch, you're all wasting the day away, losers."
"Wait, don't tell me, you woke up at nine." Claire pointed her index finger to her head and imitated pulling a trigger.
"Eight, actually." he said with a smirk, but his eyes softened as he gazed at her.
Jade had to refrain from groaning. Tim had been in love with Claire since they met three years ago, but she was completely oblivious. To be fair, she'd had a long-term boyfriend till the lying scumbag cheated on her last year. But now she was single, and Tim just couldn't rack up the balls to make a move. It was excruciating to watch.
"You cannot be human," Claire groaned, 'What is wrong with you?"
He blushed, and Jade exchanged a discreet eye roll with Hannah.
Then Claire's eyes landed on the tray Tim had in his hand. "Are they...is that...?"
"Yep, I got you all Powerade."
They all looked up at him like he was a God
"Whatever, I figured you guys needed it."
"Tim," Claire said solemnly, "Have I ever told you how much I love you?"
Wait for it, wait for it...Yep, there is was. Tim's face turned entirely red, so red it was almost purple.
Hannah jumped out of the bed, taking the tray from him before he dropped it. "Thanks Tim, you're a lifesaver."
Tim muttered a barely audible excuse and almost ran out of the room as Hannah doled out the much needed glasses of Powerade.
"Jade? Earth to Jade?...Jade!" Hannah poked her in the ribs, hard.
"Ouch! What was that for?"
"You were off in la-la land again." Claire said with a smile, "Seriously Jade you should get yourself checked out. Han's been trying to give you your glass for hours, her hand was close to falling off!" Hannah snorted at her theatrics.
"Huh?" Jade mentally shook herself, she had been miles away thinking about the awful sadness she'd seen in Susan and Tom's eyes last night. She should have kept staring at the damn table. "Sorry, I was just uhhh...wait, what time did you say it was?"
