Jennifer's POV
It's been a week, since Dad got discharged from the hospital and he was getting better, myself and mom was happy about it. My mom and dad loves each other a lot, theirs been a love marriage, they wanted me to find the love of my life.
But, unfortunately from my childhood, I don't have any boys in my life. Even now I can remember the first day of my play school, myself and another boy were fighting like wrestlers for a toy, then the teacher came there to calm us down. Since then there has been a bad chemistry between me and boys.
John is now an exceptional case he became my friend, he called me everyday after we met each other in the hospital, and he inquired about my dad's health, he was so concerned, and I can feel the care and affection in his voice. Apart from my dad's health condition we didn't have any other talk. I felt comfortable talking with him, it gave me a friendly feel.
John's POV
My feelings for Jennifer grew everyday, but I didn't fail to call her each morning, but I will only inquire about her dad's health and I avoided other conversations to hide my feelings for her.
This week was a hectic week and I had so much work in office. Today I planned to leave home soon so that I can attend my friend's birthday party. I reached home soon got ready and left my home. When I reached my friend Melvin's house it was locked, I was confused so I took my phone and called him.
"Hey man!!! Where you are I am standing in front of your house"
So much noise at the back, loud music and people enjoying I couldn't get what he was saying.
"John, I forgot to inform you, I relocated my home four days before. I will message you the address. You should be here within thirty minutes "
Then he hung up. My phone beeped, I got the message from him, I saw the address and I was surprised, because it seems like a familiar address. It's Jenny's house address. Melvin shifted to Jenny's apartment!!! Woww, it's really great.
I took my bike and drove fast, and reached there in twenty minutes, since I was eager to meet my friend Melvin Noah, not at all it's a great lie to meet my love Jenny, how much I tried to control my feelings for her, but I failed and I was falling in love with her.
I don't know in which floor, Jenny was residing there, but Melvin texted me to come to terrace.
My heart was eagerly waiting to see her beautiful face and I was thinking about her while climbing the staircase.
Ohhh!!! Jenny was coming down along the stairs and she was shocked to see me there. She slipped and fell down in my arms, I was holding her waist and her face was facing towards me, her face was very close to mine, I was able to feel my thundering heart beat. She gently pushed me away and managed to stand up by herself, I was taken aback by that incident, but I am pretty sure that she didn't have any feelings for me.

Then she moved two steps back from me and asked me why I was there. I told her that I came for my friend Melvin's birthday party. Then she invited me to her home to see her parents. I refused, but she compelled me, and I accepted to go and we went to her home. Once we got in, her mother and father welcomed me with a smile on their face. Then her mom served three of us with a cup of coffee and it's Aroma was heavenly, it was filling the entire house. The cup of coffee was warm in my hands with every sip I savour the moment in my mind thinking "How precious is this moment to sit with my love's family and have a cup of coffee". Man... You are lucky I thought .
We all sat together and spoke about my job, then they mentioned that Jenny was searching for a job. At that moment Melvin called me, I excused myself from them and attended the call he enquired me where I was and asked me to come soon. Then I explained them about the birthday party which was going on their apartment terrace, and asked her father's permission to take Jenny along with me to the party, he accepted and both of us reached the terrace where the party was going on, rocking music was played and my friends were dancing.
Jennifer's POV
Myself and John sat together and I had juice and he had champagne which was served. We spoke for the first time, something apart from my father's health condition. We spoke about our likes and dislikes, and I came to know that both of us had totally different taste for each and everything from food to the point of view on life.
Then John asked me whether I had a boyfriend,I explained him about my bad chemistry with boys then we both laughed together. While laughing he asked me, then how come you became my friend. I was silent for a while, actually I don't know the answer, and I told him that I don't know how it happened, then both of us offered a smile.
Next I asked him what he thinks about love. He started to explain, his facial expression changed and he began with a deep conversation.
"The moment when I see the Girl of my life, my heart will know her, the Girl of my dreams. I'll feel more alive, I'll realise the real meaning of my life, I'll no longer feel lonely, she will be my Angel, my dream girl, the one who will treat my just like how my mother takes care of me. And she will make me forget all my worries and all the scars in my heart will fade away."
There was so much pain in his eyes, and I could feel it. The moment got intense. And I realised that I'm am completely drowned in his eyes so in order to ease the moment I started kidding him asking whether a bulb will glow on top of your head and you will hear any bell sound, indicating that she was the girl for him. He rendered a smile and nodded his head.
All of a sudden someone stopped the rocking music which was going on and announced that John was going to sing a song. I was really surprised to hear that announcement, even John was surprised too. Then his friends cheered him by calling his name. Everyone was shouting his name, he got up, and went to the center, and started to sing.
"The club isn't the best place to find a lover So the bar is where I go Me and my friends at the table doing shots drinking fast and then we talk so............. "
Everyone was dancing happily hearing his song. His voice was really awesome, I was admiring the way he sang, his attitude, everything was extraordinary.
"Take my hand stop, put van the man on the Jukebox and there we start to dance"
Singing that lines he came closer to me and lend his hands towards me in such a way to dance with him. I couldn't avoid him, I joined hands with him and we danced together with little moves, I was dancing shyly.
