I walk through the halls. I'm the new kid, once again. I pass by hundreds, thousands, of lockers. I don't know where exactly to go. I know I'm already late, the bell rang a few minutes ago. I am not used to this school, it's so huge. Oh, let me introduce myself.
My name is Thomas, I have short brown hair and grey eyes. I was raised in a poor neighborhood, but I never minded it. As long as I had my family and food. I am tall and so slim. I always wear my red and black hoodie. I don't care for clothing, or looks, though I know people are so sensitive. I have pale white skin, having a clear face of any acne. I am seventeen, and I'm just trying to get though my last year of school. I was accepted into a private school , for free because of my state test scores. It's amazing, and much fancier than my old school. I didn't fit in. Everyone I passed by had neat hair, none-wrinkled clothes. Nobody talked to me, they must all know I'm broke. I'm sure they all have money, and get what they want.
I get shoved in the hall, being moved to the side. I glare at the stranger, but they give me a snotty look. I stop glaring, and walk away. I don't think I deserve to be in such a great place. I will be honest, all the people so far that I have talked to, they seem to think I am disgusting. I continue to walk around, lost. The halls are all empty, and I can't ask for help. I can't just walk into a random class and disrupt. People just might hate me even more than they already do. As I walk past the bathrooms, I see a girl walk out.
She has short shaggy blonde hair, but dark skin. She has unusual yellow eyes, and I stare in amazement at how I find her beautiful. She is slim, but short. She is wearing the uniform, but the pants are a guys. I am amazed, I think she speaks her mind, no matter what gets in her way. I walk up, trying to completely forget about how I thought of her. "Hello miss, may you tell me where rom 304 is?" I asked, trying my best not to stutter. I felt my face burning, oh no. Don't show the girl you're nervous!
She smile, then nods. "Sure, follow me this way!" She takes my wrist, and drags me along through the hall, she was pretty fast so I did my best to keep up. "You are very well mannered!" She compliments. I feel my face heat up.
"I-I guess it's just how I grew up-?" I stuttered at the beginning. Thomas, darn it, get your head straight! Don't stutter, don't freak out.
"Heh, we could use more people like you around here." We make a turn, and I see a door with '304' was written at the top. "Welcome to the class! Hey, if you ever need a friend, I'll be your friend!" She offers while smiling brightly. My face burns so hard, and I can't help but feel my heart racing.
"I-I would love that!" I smiled, closing my eyes, trying my best to show my joy that filled me.
"I'll see you around then!" Then girl begins to walk off, and I turn around to open the classroom door, until I hear her footsteps stop. I glance behind me, and noticed she was standing there, staring at me. "My name is Jennifer." She announces her name to me. I continue to smile, nodding my head.
"Thomas, it was a pleasure meeting you." With that, I opened the door to the classroom, taking a deep breath and walking in.
