Hiccup made his way to his homeroom with a new bruise on his face and arms. Today was not his day...but then again when was it ever his day? He sighed and continued to walk, his eyes glued to the floor.
Astrid watched as Hiccup and other students walked the same way. Her heart ached as she thought about it. Why are some people so mean?
She then walked into her homeroom and sat down next to....no one. But Hiccup was at the desk near hers. Since there was nothing to do that day they had a study hall. Since Astrid had no homework she pulled out her phone and began to play her favorite radio station- Life 102.5. Even though it was based in a different state she still listened to it on the app. At that moment 'Give me your eyes' by Brandon Heath was playing.
Hiccup looked down at his notebook and began to draw. Astrid looked over and sang in her head, "Give me your eyes for just one second. Just give me your eyes so that I can see all that I've been missing."

I know that it was short but that was just an intro to the story. Which has the same name as the song title.
